    Well, as we have the "new Colletts from old", perhaps we could have this? Uncle Lofty found his razor saw in the basement of his new dwelling, along with three ancient Triang Clerestories (i dont even remember buying) and the remains of a more modern "vintage" one , (so old they had the original pin through the axles style). Let the butchery commence.... V5, D15, C23 (2mm too narrow) but that may change.

    Just for a giggle I tried ordering some of the etched "spares" on his website (after all he states etchings are available) Once the order confirmation is taken, it says I will be contacted in regards to overseas mailing costs. That was two weeks ago....nothing, nada, nil, zilch since. Even filled in a contact form to enquire when I would get my costs? Dunns empty space emporium continues ad infinitum

    I'd be looking at your 14xx as the problem, not the auto trailer. Sounds like its missing its traction tyres.

    I think you can opt out when you fill in the shipping section. Knowing eBay it will be a major faff to alter it.

    eBay's international shipping program is a massive scam. They tried to charge me import duty and fees on a CD that was below the Canadian import duty threshold! I called them up and they refused to budge so I cancelled the purchase.

    I couldn't find any SE Finecast flushglazing in any GWR packs that would fit. That's where I stalled on my builds.

    I had to fill up the poor joint on one of my builds. Just realised I have another two K's autotrailers lurking in a box somewhere! That's five of the damn things! Is that a bit excessive?

    I think you'll find they should be vertical. You may also find that the sides are not the same length either due to K's dodgy casting. Once the roof is on you won't notice.

    The 517 sits on a Hornby 14xx chassis and as a result is a scale foot too long.

    Different back ends. Two on old cast chassis ' but I have two etched to be made I cut the bunker off one and donated it to a metro. A Bachy 57xx wreck donated a bunker to the one that got chopped!

    It's not fold up per se. It screws together and then you can solder "stretcher plates" without fear of movement

    Took me 12 months to get my refund and an apology! I'm still waiting for some items I ordered over the phone from Coopercraft after 6 years ! Don't think I'll be getting those...
