Thanx for the input Pete.
I have several pix of P22's just can't make out the brake Vacuum arrangement as pics either on the gas cylinder side or too dark to make out the arrangement .
Went with this set up in the end.
I'm currently kitbashing a Ian Kirk Python kit into a Dia P22 version.
Can anyone tell me what type or have a pic of the Vacuum brake cylinder please?
Central actuating lever or Churchward style, one each side?
Fanx
Two bits of stamped steel about 40mm×4mm×.5mm
Yeah, that's a £7.61 plus £2.50 "special order" right there!
You keep on banging the drum for "value for money"
I'll be too busy making some nickel silver ones from left over etch to hear.
It's not just the splashers.
It's the fact the cab steps are way out of line with the cab doorways that really jars
Then the sloppy rod holes.
Dodgy Jones really fouled up Kernows product which is a shame.
Thank God he's long gone before the Railmotor !
I live in Canada.
I use whoever is good on price at the time.
Hattons, Rails, Model Railways Direct have all been used one time or another.
Rails were 20 quid cheaper on the 1361 so that's where I headed.
Picked up these goodies a while back.
Any knowledgeable chap or chapters know who made them?
Also what's best to join them together glue wise , epoxy was my first thought?
Please and fanx
The detailing kit was from Westward.
I have two of them.
They contain whitemetal castings for cab window surrounds which sit right back inside the body shell and not flush to the front as they should be a lá prototype.
You also get a set of shell vents for the roof, vac pipes and cast sanding boxes for the bogies (providing you are prepared to remove the tension lock couplings)
