The gel version is quite handy, I find. Sticks fingers together really well, too.

  9. Dave Its never time to take up Crown green bowling
  10. Dave keep this a secret, but my fleet includes an O6/8F, at least until I can pass it through the paint shop. I must admit your model looks a little stunner, the weathering is excellent, and I'm sure once the running issues have been resolved it will give your 04's a run for it money. I'm currently banging my head against the wall with a four coupled chassis so you have my sympathies with getting the "gubbins" to behave ~Regards Paul
  11. Its stuff like this that makes our hobby fun, I feel sorry for those chaps who don't have a hobby (well that's what I tell myself when I have those moments of frustration ) Err hang on a minute have you LNER chaps not got enough engines without knicking some from the LMS, though I suppose its means at least you can say they had some decent engines lol
  12. I must admit there is something very satisfying about lined black engines
  13. The 45xx certainly looks like a working engine, great weathering very subtle
  14. Actually I think the effect of the oil leaking through adds to the realism of the engine, always one of my favourites
  15. Job As usual brilliant work, I hope I can capture a similar look to my models
  16. Lovely models, what we need is a picture with a suitable loco at the head of the train, I will have to limit the viewing of this GWR stuff as it may result in me dusting off the boxes of stock I have, and god knows where that may lead too
  17. It would be even better if the photographs were of a real locomotive like those from the LMS, only joking these locomotives have always appealed to me

    Aaaargh.

Brilliant I'm not the only one this happens to, you have my sympathies

  21. I must admit I have a soft spot for Class 37's in this guise, but keep it secret, I'm supposed to be a steam buff, but your excellent layout is certainly making me think about hiding, sorry building a layout in a box file
