  1. Welcome aboard you'll get a better response by putting your request in the DCC section.
  2. Real trains are much louder when crossing bridges etc than when on solid ground.
  3. Andrew is a fellow club member. I've seen his work first hand but not used any...yet. It looks very good.
  4. 7 years of semi pro modelling and it's still going strong. Chinese it may be, cheap it may be but it's still a quality product. Actions speak louder than words.
  5. I've recently used these on a 4mm Lanky Pug. As a satisfied customer I would fully recommend them.
  6. Can't help you with the set you need but I have bought them in the past from DJH if you don't have any luck here
  7. I've seen several of these used on exhibition layouts. Looks like the best option to me.
  8. CSI Premier75 is from ambient to 480 with three adjustable pre-sets.
  9. High Level KIts every time. There is a speed calculator on the website and Chris is always very helpful.
  10. I've used a Circuit Specialists 75 watt solder station for the past 7 or 8 years. It's reliable, cost effective and UK sourced. No connection other than being a very satisfied customer.
  11. Looks expensive to me. I've used one of these for over five years now for everything I do including 0 gauge. No connection just a VERY happy customer.
  12. Yes I have. Thanks for taking the time.
  13. If you give Colin a ring he should know whether they're right for you model.
  14. That's very helpful John. Mine is is 4mm so probably a bit simpler.
  15. Many of these were 'acquired' during the Second World War for the war effort. If you're layout is post war you'd only need to model the stubs where they were cut off. Just a thought.
  16. I have acquired a David Geen kit for this but don't have any instructions. Would any of you lovely people happen to have a set or possibly a photo of the underside of the model showing the brake gear? Many thanks.
  17. Try contacting Heljan directly. I needed a box for a Garratt and they were very helpful.
  18. As the loco is not as advertised send it back for an immediate refumd.
  19. I think you're probably expecting too much of a 4-6-0 through those reverse curves at that radius and using Setrack points TBH.
