  4. My annual pilgrimage to Swindon was enjoyable. I got all tingly coming home when I had the chance to ride on a new GWR 800 Class, sadly the seats took that feeling to another part of my anatomy! Not convinced :(

Yet another vote, perhaps, for the Voyager unit becoming the 'train of choice' when the long distance HSTs have finally gone from the Western. Quite unbelievable, really.

Sadly I find myself in agreement and stated something similar to my travelling companions. Progress eh !

  5. I seem to have lost my Wayfinders, perhaps they're at the Hants & Dorset Lost Property Office ?

    1. Captain Kernow

      Captain Kernow

How can you have lost something that finds its way? Perhaps this is simply a metaphor for the fact that you have lost yourself and have actually handed yourself in to the Hants & Dorset Lost Property Office?

  7. Trains beyond Exeter St.Davids have been terminated this afternoon and Teignmouth town centre closed due to an unexploded bomb found near the pier ! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-44784001

Apparently somebody has - the pier at Teignmouth is about 600 yds from the railway so even if the bomb goes bang it is hardly likely to scratch the paint on a passing HST or blow a Pacer off the track.
