  1. Endeavour is late 60s by then, so a nod to the corporate identity is possible, though I'd have done it as a white panel bearing the black logo and "Ticket Office" over the window. Of course the colour scheme would be a more dingy grey and white, rather than green and cream!

    Flat Earth

As the Beatles sang... We all live on an oblate spheroid Earth an oblate spheroid Earth an oblate spheroid Earth We all live on an oblate spheroid Earth an oblate spheroid Earth an oblate spheroid Earth ithenkyow!!!
  3. Perhaps he could be tempted to leave by the thought that he'll have a presidential pension once he leaves office, he'll never be "poor" again. Also he'll get a secret service bodyguard until he dies. A great saving there too! Someone tell him to stop blubbering and hand him those Big Boy pants!
  4. I see what you mean but the approach to the fiddleyard reminds me of the municipal golfcourse before you get to Hoylake, rather than the semi-abandoned market gardens and Rycroft Road as you approach Meols... As for the footbridge across the Joint, connecting the upper and lower parts of Ashton Park, its not visually exciting! Looking at the lower picture, there are some steps in the distance. After WW1 a decommissioned MkIV tank was placed there for some reason. It wasn't looked after (who would want a reminder of the carnage of the Western Front in their public park?) and eventually taken away for scrap in the early 30s.
  5. ... said Second-pilot Trump, jabbing angrily at his eject button....
  6. Doubt it. According to (appropriately enough) "Raising Steam" the scorpion pit has been discontinued and replaced by Cedric and his kittens (twinkle, twinkle, apparently...) Anyhow, after the last time, the MiM put me on the "ignore" list.
  7. Even now, he must be writhing in self-loathing. Wonderful! Or as Hunter S Thompson would have described it, Fear and Loathing in the White House!

    Remembrance.

I was out on my doorstep (in the pouring rain) for the two minute silence, so I missed your thoughtful tribute. Thanks for posting it.
  9. My dad loved it, mainly because of the music, but Bolam and Flynn as the lead characters were also appealing. Quirky, I'd say!
  10. Welland was PC Graham in series 2-5, John Thaw also appeared as a DC in four episodes in series 3, Leonard Rossiter as a DI for eight episodes in series 2 and George Sewell was a DI in six episodes in series 6... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z-Cars Headlights ON!!! Judi Dench as a juvenile delinquent.... Who'd have thought it? I always thought "Redcap" was John Thaws first police role, but he was in Z Division first!
  11. As they were designed when people were "less well off" and comparatively skinny, we might consider that it would be possible to insert 12 people per compartment with relative ease. Nowadays our plump population would look like a tin of sardines in such conditions!
  12. Yet.... There's plenty of time in the next four weeks!

    Lockdown #2

Just Bachmann selecting the more popular livery and adding their margin.
  14. They wanted a girl and were so upset....
  15. Its ok, I've got a catering size drum of mint sauce ready.....

    EBay madness

Lima also did the 4F in O gauge and N gauge, the chassis on both replicating their OO/HO chassis with the floating centre drivers, though the N gauge one was tender drive. Terrible things, whatever the gauge/scale!
  17. Far too kind. I'd like to picture him sitting in a clay pigeon launcher. PULL!!!
  18. Crikey! She's seen better days! Actually, its what happens when you take a Triang motor bogie through Code 75 points...
  19. Is that a new euphemism for a "temporary friend"?
  20. So its a 16" monitor then? (ok, so its got two 16" bang-sticks, but that would make my reply too cumbersome...) As for the colour, I can't help it if you ran out of paint for the WD. However, you could use the same colour for the Monitor!!! Saunters off, looking innocent...
  21. Very enjoyable videos. Well done! A suggestion for the scenic break to the fiddleyard, why not model it as the footbridge at Hoylake? As the run is compressed, you don't need to model the signal box and level crossing too, however that might look nice!
  22. I see you've taken my "weathering" comment a while ago to heart, the shed looks almost exactly the same colour as the WD 2-8-0... The ship looks like some sort of Monitor.
  23. Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down...
