  1. In the loco picture above, the rear wheels appear to have fallen off the track.
  2. Having just seen this topic I have looked at the website, but I can't find prices anywhere. I would be interested in knowing steam reblow prices and return postage prices if anyone can help.
  3. Thanks for the heads up, I've downloaded the trial version which works for a couple seconds before it asks if I want to buy the full version. I managed to move and stop something, but I couldn't reverse it. Can you give me few details of what you can do with this app and if you think it's worth the £11, as the other 2 apps were free and £1. I like the photo icons replicated from the main unit instead of just a list, what else do you get? Regards. Forget the above, I've found a video on YouTube to answer my questions.
  4. Does this enginedriver app work with ECoS, the only 2 Android systems I've found and use are ECoS Controller and RtDrive ECoS?
  5. Each to their own, but I bought a new smart phone for £9.99 in the sales just to use as a remote control. I agree that the sliders can be difficult for fine control if it's a small screen, but the phones/tablets all have volume controls on the sides which also controls the speed as well as the screen sliders, this allows you to change speed one step/click at a time.
  6. Once you have an ECoS connected to a router you can download apps to phones and tablets for free remote controls, so you can follow your trains to your heart's content, with no wires to plug in/trail.
  7. If it still works you enter code BCM19 when ordering through the GCR website.
  8. I use my android phone and tablet as 2 remote controls with my ECoS, choice of 2 free downloadable apps.
  9. I wonder why Mr Jones of Channel 4 advertised that the race could be watched live on Sky. Is this another example of the chain-janking ba****ds flexing their muscles again?
  10. On a couple of occasions in the past I have seen an item "sell", only for it to be re-listed straight away, "sell" again and be re-listed for a few times more. I presumed the item did not achieve its hoped for price and the seller or his accomplice was entering their own bid to bump up the price.
  11. Just a heads up to Freeview motorsport watchers who are wondering where everythings gone this year, MotoGP is on Quest (37) tonight at 6pm.
  12. Normal service is resumed, insofar as Bottas is miles behind Lewis and Seb falls off the track whenever Lewis comes close and shouts Boo!
  13. Where was the opening music, (the Chain), it doesn't seem like F1 without it.
  14. I enjoyed the Hornby & Rails show last night, and although Son of Hedley might have been a bit miffed at the Terrier duplication he must be over the moon at the amount of free TV advertising Rails got last night. (I think I twigged his choice of car reg. as well, 007 - licensed to kill, 0007 - licensed to print. Just jestin', John, if you read this.)
  15. Williams: Formula 1 in the Blood, tonight, 9pm, BBC2.
  16. I got the first 2 questions correct, now I've seen the cube picture I'll give it 2 minutes thought before I give up. (I only got to 'O' level maths ((grade 1 mind you)) before I left school as fast as my little legs would go. I hated it. That was 45 years ago, I'm still seeking the easiest life possible, both mentally and physically.) I think my consciousness was destined for a 2 toed sloth, something must have gone wrong in the transferance process.
  17. A cube has 6 faces, how do you share 27 numbers over 6 faces? If you mean a square grid, 5 square can accommodate 25 numbers and 6 square can accommodate 36. Am I missing something?
  18. Agree X thousands & millions, in fact, fed up of agreeing year on year, & I stopped asking at Bachy's exhibition stand years ago. I have 8 red Scots, 9 red Jubilee's, and guess how many Compounds. (Clue: less than 1).
  19. Good day, then a look at Tornado on the Nene Valley on the way back.
  20. Reminds me of a Month Python sketch where a bevy of beautiful women paraded past the camera lens followed by a Python in drag. Off camera a voice could be heard going "phwoar, phwoar, phwoar, urrrrgh!"
  21. Try taking the battery out for the week if it's easy to do, then you'll know if the battery's losing charge itself or if something's flattening it.
  22. I gave that advice on another thread to someone who was thinking of buying one. All I got for my trouble was sneery sods denigrating the use of "glass throttles" - their phrase, not mine.
