  1. Not wanting to turn the thread into a Brexit customs issue but take a look at 'small' amount of red tape now that the EU is not involved. https://www.scmp.com/economy/global-economy/article/3105336/global-container-shortage-drives-spike-shipping-rates-brings and then there is this, Nothing to be worried about , last minute.com LOL! https://theloadstar.com/new-uk-customs-declaration-system-doesnt-work-lets-stick-with-chief/
  2. I work in logistics so familiar with all that thanks, container costs have doubled as well from China so that will be a big impact on the bottom line too. Just might not be a good time to send these out. https://www.scmp.com/economy/global-economy/article/3105336/global-container-shortage-drives-spike-shipping-rates-brings
  3. Good news so, I hope they manage to post them before Dec 31st as this will enable me to not have to pay VAT Again or have issues with customs here. Not sure what happens if they post these Dec-31st.

  12. That's his job and he gets money for it, If I was that abrupt with people then I would have no business.
  13. Very hard to source trucks EX Uk to Ireland recently, I wonder has export demand gone up before the Brexit day comes so there is some kind of buffer for materials.
  14. Given your high standards along with championing the model all along and I suspect some input into the model itself they were gonna make sure you got a good one in all fairness. And yes it does look very nice too.
  15. You put yourself out there on the Net so you are bound to get some reaction to your reviews positive and no so positive. As an influencer do you get paid from rails/other suppliers to review these yokes?
  16. Like the chap says. If you are importing you trains and paying duty then you are due a refund.
  17. I was reading the producers are looking for a bridge to blow up so I imagine this yoke will be on top or near it when it happens. Tom or Evan will no doubt escape by his fingertips whilst just about to be shoveled alive into the Firebox by the Arch Enemy.
  18. cracking modelling there, I love to visit the real place at some stage!
  19. How many times do you actually look under a wagon and go ooh Loverlystuff?...Maybe once just taken out of the box but afterwards, personally me never afterwards once on the layout. Good Luck KR. bit to far north for me though.
  20. Look like it went Rallying to me TBH. Tad too overcooked. Glad to see the Environmental packing now, Good Riddance to the plastic
  21. I must admit I do get a little bit of excitement when this thread pops up with hopefully more news on the project but most of it is pretty much nothing to do with the Model itself.
  22. I got 404 too but a search on the Hornby Site gives this link: https://www.Hornby.com/uk-en/news/the-engine-shed/developing-Hornby-far-wide?fbclid=IwAR2X-foqwDj7-CzDk8KD5Wh5mEQDN0aYJ1hSXBo_bYsD8_EOHKc8aplNN6Q

  24. Wah, news to me, the Dock area Looked pretty clinical last December and when I visited and over the past 4 years, Mind you would not be on the look out really St Georg area has some rough stuff by all accounts. yest to explore that side.
  25. "If you go to MW you are going to see worse sights in the local area. It's right by the red light district!" No its not, At least a 13 mins bus ride to the Reeperbahn or a good 40 minute walk. there are lovely walks around the new Harbour and Warehouse district with no Red bubls in sight at all.
