Will they also change the DCC socket or will 8 pin support multiple light functions. I did hear about other HST but these were the prototype from Dapol but in N and did i read about one proposed in O gauge?
  3. Im probably going to pick up a few of these bullhead points. So, being unifrog are all tracks live at all times? If i want to power the frog can i just reuse my DCC80 autofrogs? Its only a small layout so ill stick to manual control of the blades Am i right in thinking that i wont need insulating joiners on crossovers and facing frogs = in the run round loop for instance? Will nomal peco code 75 fishplates work ok? Cheers
  4. Yep tried that still get a 404 : Page not found error EDIT : Managed to get them by googling the part number. This then brought up a working link. Long winded way to do it but at least it works
  5. I tried that with the o scale plans and i cant seem to enlarge them to A4 size despite having no issues with other images
  6. Dapol have done n gauge 57xx with british railways lettering on both plain font and the gwr type font. y
  7. Theres 3 shops i regularly visit. 2 of which have prices on everything, both new and used. One of them, the smaller of the 3 has prices on most things. Preowned stuff seems to be unpriced and you have to ask
  8. So to update i tried a spare imperium and it works perfectly well
  9. Fairly sure it was a kays catologue jobbie. I got it one year for xmas along with a HST set i bilieve
  10. Just got a Dapol n class 26. It was a customer return so i got a discount on it but is basically new. Its the next 18 version. The reason it was returned is they said it wouldnt run properly on DCC. It runs great on DC ive had it running for a good half hour tonight. So what decoders are recommended? Obviously the Dapol next 18 would seem the natural choice seeing as thats what the dcc fitted verisons use. I have had other locos that run rubbish on some decoders - DJM and EFE J94 come to mind. Tried a few different decoders in them but the only one they played happy with was zimo.
  11. They will have to refund because Oliver Rails said you can get it refunded if the price goes up. It has so you can cancel with no panalty.
  12. New video gone on about the 47s which im pleased to see
  13. Seems to me all the new videos are for subscribers only. Not seen anything regarding bachmanns new announcments this week and i saw a Heljan update that was also for subscribers only.
  14. Ive got a few hwljan locos and my only complaint is the droopy couplings. Not so much of an issue on most locos but i have to run the 05 with a shunters truck so i can couple up without intervention
  15. Ill probably come along. I dont know alsager that well, the only bits i know are asda and the post office where i used to work. Is it the school that backs onto asda car park?
  16. I seem to recall the prototype TTS sound decoders had all the circuitary on the outside of the tender.
  17. habe a look for videos of the 117 as its the same sound chip i think.
  18. Apparently new and unopened.... i guess the handrails broke themselves then... Hornby train. Class 08. New unopened. | eBay
  19. Id disagree with the condition. Obviously not new. 20. Ive never known any 00 gauge 1st raduis points. Since i was little theyve always been the standard Hornby point size which is 2nd radius. N gauge set track points are first radius tho.
  21. Ive decided mines too big for my little end to end im planning so have decided to sell it on. Stunning model tho.
  22. DCC fitting seems simple without the need to take the body off which is a plus. Just need to crack on with a layout for it now.
  23. Visited my local shop and he had a blue grey one on display. After seeing it in the flesh it came home with me. Lovely model and a bargain at £254. Only ran on DC at present with a combi controller as i dotn yet had a proper layput
  24. Last question from me, how long is the 122? Just judging of it will fit my station platform
