  1. yes the JGA hoppers. I've ever seen or read the cement JGA mixed with hopper wagons
  2. the picture isn't mine, i just searched on flickr. it should ne noted that i can only find the FL66's on the shorty HYAs in either GB Railfreight/Tarmac branding or no branding.
  3. Freightliner 66s have also worked on HYA. For a while last year GBRf used a few Freightliner 66s while GBRf's 59003 was hired to Freightliner for driver training prior to the mendip contract. I saw a few FL66's on HYA's around leeds working between Rylstone Quarry and Leeds Hunslet. Off topic but the shorty HYA's also worked with the Tarmac JGA's
  4. just a shame DRS haven't applied the RR graphics. maybe they didn't get the licence?
  5. Is there any difference between the IKA and the FKA?
  6. Dam you guys. Umm'd and arr'd and I'm going to take the plung for half a rake (18) regards darryl
  7. Tempted to order them, but at £30 a wagon they do seem a little expensive, especially when you can get a larger bogie wagon for the same price (i.e. accurascale PTA). If here was an option for discount for bundles i would be interested as I'm after at least 18 wagons. regards Darryl
  8. Steve is brilliant although he is his worst enemy in a way. He's so good at what he does the poor guy is rushed off his feet due to high demand. He needs to take someone on to help him but I think he has said before he doesn't have the time to teach someone the techniques in railway designs etc. It's a double edged sword for the poor lad.
  9. What refund has people received from returning their 66? I ordered the Cemex one and DB ones together to save on the £4 postage. they sent out the DB one earlier in the year for free, then they charged me £4 for sending out 66780 on it's own (I didn't ask for this, it is what Hatton's decided to do). I returned 66780 but I only received £150 refund. I believe that i should receive the £154 because 1) it isn't my fault the product was faulty, and 2) it was their decision to send out the two models seperately and charge me for the second one. regards darryl
  10. what's the best way to contact steve, as the e-mail is turned off? i remember reading you could live chat to him but i can't find where this is on the site? cheers darryl
  11. Guy, he does mean 58050. He's saying 58050 was released later than the other 58s due to some modifications made to 58050 after the guys at RTC had looked around the 59s
  12. Cheers for the detailed information mate. I'm tempted to have a go at modifying a freightliner HIA into a Nacco/MRL IIA
  13. Haha, no not them. These: https://images.app.goo.gl/VMnqeC8hfdnGthVB8 Although they are coded as HOAs, MRL have some identical wagons that are coded IIAs. The wagon coding is getting confusing. Same as JGAs as they are aggregate hopper wagons but also cement carrying tankers
  14. In the 1.5 years I worked for TPE based at York, I think I saw them on the ECML only two or three times. Now what would be nice is some of the IIA/HOA aggregate hoppers. There are a few liveries these have carried including MRL, Cemex and Touax. Although I wonder if Dapol may do them as they look like the HIAs, which some body differences and different bogies
  15. Yeah, just Tyne Dock to lynemouth power station and very rarely to Drax power station.
  16. Are they the biomass ones on the lynemouth power station flow?
  17. Aye they are the only box wagons, then you have the intermodal wagons
  18. Thought I was correct regarding the Cemex HOA. Slightly off topic, I'm having a go at converting an EWS HTA into a Tarmac HYA. This includes removing a section of the wagon, adjusting the slope of the end of the wagon, fitting LTF25 bogies, fitting buffers and hook and chain coupling, plus a couple of other alterations along the solebar. Unfortunately no one has ever made a GBRF HYA or IIA coal wagon in OO to make an easy HYA / IIA aggregate wagon
  19. I think all the Cemex HOAs are owned by DB cargo. Do you have a link to the picture as they maybe cut down HYA/ IIA wagons
  20. Quidco had a 25% off offer on ebay purchases, upto a maximum of £10 off, so I purchased one. Lets see what happens...
  21. cheers for the heads up, sound 66587 and 2x sound 66780's ordered.
  22. I would like a Freightliner 66621 to renumber to 66612 (had one from first batch but sent it back) and a Scotsman 66/7, but I won't be ordering any until the lighting problem is fixed
  23. suppose it depends when you are modelling. The MRL ones could go behind the 60, the FL66 and a Dapol 59. Tarmac ones behind the 60 or DB 66.
  24. cheers. I bought the class 59 sound file from you last year with the iphone speaker. will this need to be updated to the latest version when the 59 comes out? is it biffs sound that is in the factory fitted sound 59? cheers
