  1. yes! all the models listed in the link you posted!
  2. can't compare to be honest. I bought 66789 as a new model, but I have returned the model as it is defective with the glue splash. Any that are re-sold will have to have the defects listed or they are repaired and sold on. I do wonder what will happen to the returned models as I am in the process of returning 66621 but the whole item can't be re-sold as 66621 as the numbers on the side are now 66612. Now if there was an option to buy defective ones, I would be interested in buying them for static display, TnT, DIT etc
  3. but they will have to list them as having defects, such as the lights, and the massive glue splash on the bogie of 66789 that I had
  4. it is just a shame that the product can't be kept and a replacement circuit board, or chassis sent out to customers, as per Dapol did with the DRS 68. it seems a shame binning a lot of good running models. I wonder if the damaged / returned ones could be sold on the cheap as seconds to people who would like to run then without the lights, motors etc for DIT or TnT train, or static on shed.
  5. I wish I had noticed the marker light problem before as I have renumbered and renamed the 66621 to 66612 Forth Raider. I will contact hattons and see if I can keep the body and they send a replacement chassis once the problem with the circuitry has been resolved. regards Darryl
  6. Hi, does anyone have any spare large handbrake wheels, as fitted to the Bachmann HHAs and JPAs Many thanks Darryl
  7. where did you get these mate and do you have pictures? a project for me this year is to make some HRA and GBRf/Tarmac HYA's cheers Darryl
  8. Hence 'propably' in the first sentence, but hand up I forgot it in the second. The Doncaster - Tyne Yard - Millerhill has had four hauliers in three years. Until early 2018 DB worked Doncaster - Tyne Yard and I think GBRf worked the Tyne Yard to Millerhill portion. then 2018-2019 it was DRS did the whole lot from Donny to Millerhill then from 2019 it had been Colas.
  9. Hence why i said 'used'. Colas won the contract on probably cost, if DB, DRS, GBRf had of been cheaper then they would have won. DB used to have the contract and that was occasionally class 90 hauled.
  10. WCML class 88s run between Daventry and Mossend, and will be running from Dagenham to Liverpool ECML They used to run between Doncaster and Millerhill Regards Darryl
  11. surely 59201 was the first production of the 59/2's as it was delivered in 1995 when 202-206 were a seperate order and delivered in 1996?
  12. lets also hope Dapol learn from the 68 and listen to people on here / Dapol digest etc. Dapol have had a habit recently of releasing finished products with wrong colours: - the blue on the TPE 68 was too light - the ends of the FL HIAs are silver/grey and not the released white the decorated livery samples of the 59s have the greys wrong on the ARC model (it should be one grey and not two) and the blue on the NP 59 is too dark
  13. yes it is the firebox module. I don't want the front light to come on at same time as the firebox. I guess if I want to fit a smoke generator then I would have to change the sound decoder so I have more aux functions? regards Darryl
  14. cheers mate. moving from working for TPE at York to working for DB at Mossend :-)
  15. Will be using the Dapol ARC Dapol if they get the colouring correct. also on order a Dapol National Power 59 for the rake of National Power JMA coal wagons that I have converted from Freightliner HHA's
  16. No I don't need a Yeoman outer pack as I will be mixing the Yeoman inners into the ARC ones
  17. many thanks again for the replies, i will get round to wiring it up at some point between working and sorting for a house move. Paul, don't want to use the green wire as i already have a flickering orange firebox led fitted to the green wire. many thanks Darryl
  18. Dam, been trying hard not to order them, but I have given and ordered 1x outer ARC pack, 1x inner ARC pack and 1x inner Yeoman packs. Can't wait for them
  19. thanks for the replies guys. there will only be one lamp working (the middle one) so because don't want the light to be directional, shall i connect it to both the white and yellow wires on the decoder, or to just one and remap the cv so the light stays on all the time with the function pressed? regards darryl
  20. that is fantastic. did you buy the loader like that or convert it yourself?
  21. many thanks for the detailed reply. it is appreciated. I bought some micro LED's from DCC concepts and the instructions say the resistor is to be attached to the +ve legs. all the best darryl
  22. cheers mick It is the Hornby TTS sound decoder. regards Darryl
  23. many thanks for the reply guys. I already have a flickering 'firebox' wired to the green pin. I don't want the headlight to be directional and i want it to be controlled independantly to the fire box so would it be a case of wiring it to either of the white or yellow pins? many thanks Darryl
  24. many thanks for the reply, I'm just fitting the two tail lights to one end. Would it be best to wire the two LED's in series or parallel? or would it be best to test in each to see which gives the 'correct' brightness? many thanks Darryl
