  1. @Rugd1022 - on your travels if you find the snap of the 50 on MGRs at Stafford do let us know. Have tried numerous times to find it again. It was northbound and I think it was Buildwas to Silverdale or Hem Heath empties.
  2. From conversations I have had with manufacturers and retailers analogue users are now outnumbered on the purchases of new-tooling loco products by digital users.
  3. We are NOT here for use as a bloody nuclear deterrent. Some adjustment of perspective is required. Which makes it even worse. The world does not revolve around YOU.
  4. Agreed. Can we please desist further speculation or opinion in light of this tragedy.
  5. I have made similar comment to friends, we are at a significant point. For me, however, it's not about an individual loco (although I feel Accurascale's Manor is the best 4mm steam loco we have seen) but in the rolling stock with Accurascale and Rapido producing breadth and quality to a standard significantly above others of useful pieces, not just glamorous apprentice pieces. Both Mainline and Airfix took that step forward. The longer-established names are reacting and adapting and far faster than happened 45 years ago. Interesting times.
  6. It's an odd one (different from a fault previously noted that affected layouts). I did some further checking earlier using a permissions and settings mask for your login and couldn't replicate it. Is it worth a cookie/cache/history clearout of RMweb stuff and login afresh?
  7. It gives an overview of a topic. It can be invoked by the slider switch just above the topics on the VNC page. Make sure Condensed is highlighted. The error you've observed can be caused by a bug in ignoring a topic in that subforum. It shouldn't be related to the Expanded view but there's some correlation.
  8. In a similar vein this is worth grazing - http://cerealoffers.com/home.html I was referred to it when discussing interesting stuff you used get in cereal packets. Hornby train set anyone? http://cerealoffers.com/Kelloggs/Cornflakes/1970s/Train_Set_/train_set_.html
  9. Check you haven't got the Expanded view in View New Content.
  10. Wait until we start dishing out standard advice to provide a a feed to every piece of track.
  11. That would be a giant leap forward in this case. 😉
  12. I do like it Al; it captures its predecessor nicely and yet, in a good way, doesn't look N. I probably prefer your original style of backscene though - it's one of your trademarks.
  13. As it stands it's impractical, unworkable, unprototypical and unappealing; it's not worth anyone spending any time tweaking anything. Measure the space you have available and spend some time looking at track plans that others have built.
  14. Have you got the loco to coupling in the close or the wider position? Are you working in DCC?
  15. Otherwise we would be knee deep in Huntley and Palmer's biscuit works.
  16. Dab is a specific species distinct from an illegally undersized plaice; delicious.
  17. Dare I say this but maybe the answer is (another) camera? One for the front door (no need for focus stacking ;) ) - I get a lot of deliveries and it's amazing what these monkeys get up to; DPD being one of the worst now here with scruffy contractors' vans and lazy drivers. Years ago they were very good.
  18. This has arisen before with, I think, Safari as a browser deciding you should be further protected from links taking you off-site. All ok at this end on Chrome.
  19. A huge loss from the exhibition circuit as he will be to family and friends. Any time spent with George, even if he'd got the hump, was time well spent. A lovely, lovely bloke who will be missed by many.
