  1. VGA/VKAs are still on MoD trains, usually used for support equipment/straps on vehicle trains I believe.
  2. SPAs in use on a short term concrete block flow in the cardiff area around 2017. This is the newest image I can find of them on the Stocksbridge flow (2019). (Flickr link)
  3. West highland line - I think it was a GBRf 66 from an alcan train that was cut up in situ.
  4. (Flickr link - click for info) MEAs still recently in use between Cardiff tidal and Masborough. I think the HEAs were for B&Q gravel between Southampton and Mossend, around 2015. Only the Prestwick fuel trains use the TTAs now, following the end of the Lairg and Fort William flows. Cheers
  5. VTG grey used mainly for sea dredged aggregate are the most recent, but I don't think any are still in use.
  6. Dunno why, but 422 looks much better with the black headcode panel.
  7. The dip tanks are very common here in Scotland on the flows out of Oxwellmains. I think they must be some of the oldest 4 wheel revenue wagons on the network by now (not saying that's related to this incident though).
  8. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-54888642 No injuries thankfully. Think it was this service - https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H03611/2020-11-11/detailed
  9. Ah I think they are ICAs actually, owned by ermewa. They may have been a later build, but would probably have been used in clay traffic before. Calcium carbonate out of Aberdeen was carried in JGA wagons out of guild street before Waterloo reopened.
  10. They're TEA tankers, as above. They are pretty similar, but are non-internationally registered, and have quite a distinctive shape. Someone will be along soon to give the full details I'm sure!
  11. The first freight via Stonehaven for nearly 3 months, the Craiginches cement crawls north over Fetteresso viaduct behind yet another Colas 70. 3/11/20 And going the other way, 70803 heads for Workington with Calcium carbonate tanks at a rather smarter pace. 4/11/20
  12. 68018 Vigilant working the Grangemouth - Craiginches intermodal through Feathers, Stonehaven, on the second day of operations following the line reopening. Not a great shot, but a welcome change from the usual 66s the work this service.
  13. Looking forward to seeing this progress mate. Looks like it will capture the open country nicely.
  14. Looks like it, though I still think a big slab of yellow is better, in the daytime at least, for sighting.
  15. @cs233 has pointed out the GWR model has the correct plough tooling.
  16. I should have maybe looked at what had been tooled before replying! The light clusters are also slightly different on the saltire 158s, but would be fine for the older 'barbie' units, and I doubt many would mind the difference.
  17. Running about 250 late, 70807 leads a classmate (possibly 810) which had expired at Perth, north out of stonehaven on the Craiginches cement tanks. 27/05/20
  18. Scotrail 158s will need a new plough/obstacle deflector to be tooled.
