  1. Theyve been using that font for awhile now on red sheds. Looks like its similar to that used on blue and sectorisation, although the 2 is slightly different Edit; I think 66069 was one of the first to carry this style. Two years ago. Flickr pic
  2. There's a rumour that the GBRf 60s will take over Rylstone quarry working from next week, with Arcow to follow. edit - just found this on a gen group
  3. Surprised that Balfour Beatty white/blue isn't being done, given that they have 6 of the 18 survivors now. From OTP, BB have 6 - 2 of them are stored at Ashford at the last count and the other 4 work around the Southern, 11 on preserved railways and one at Tata Scunthorpe.
  4. Pre-selling them before they arrive..... Does the lifetime warranty transfer when sold/bought via ebay? As the description implies? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126394371550?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=-u-bme6js9-&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=__tDpysrRka&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY And he has three of them....
  5. Yep - finding loads of good examples.... BTW - do you do HOA graffiti decals - or is that a TBA?
  6. Just doing a bit of research for weathering/graffiti for the incoming HOAs. Here's an easy couple to do. links to flickr pic
  7. Branding only. Not the full bling.
  8. That's a longer gap than some of the jokes on here.....
  9. Truth or myth? Several pilots are on with ATC, each asking for a higher altitude as they try to out-do each other. Then an SR-71 comes on, requesting FL600. The controller says "If you can reach it, you can have it". The pilot responds "... descending FL600".
  10. He had them custom made in Germany. The crests were from the Railtec Northern Belle set. Fox lining.
  11. ISTR that 90763 was trialed on the Shotton iron ore trains whilst allocated to Bidston.
  12. Alas, for me at least, that wasn't the wording in the reply I got. Unfortunately, I cannot foresee us doing more development in order to facilitate other non-Hornby DCC controllers.
  13. George has replied. Not a good answer as he cannot foresee any further development to work with non-Hornby systems. The recommendation was to buy a Select or Elite to allow full use of the dongles..... Anyone want to buy a HM7000 dongle?
  14. Thanks Rob, I will contact George. A&H Models are listing the v3.6 upgrade on their website. https://www.aandhmodels.co.uk/lenz-set100-software-version-36-1883-c.asp
  15. Hi Rob, Apologies for the delay in replying. Work/life/exhibitions got in the way. I've updated everything as far as I can - dongle, etc. The Lenz LZV is running v3.6 (the latest version),. I still can't get other decoders to work with the HM7000/dongle on long addresses. I tried the CV update and I got an error "Compatibility notice This feature is only compatible with HM7000 decoders", so doesn't appear to be available with the dongle. If you could escalate the issue, that would be most appreciated. It would appear to be at least partly sorted as @Tony Walker reported that long addresses work with a LZV200 base unit. My plan is to replace the ageing LH100 handsets on mine and the club layouts, so if it can be sorted, then I'm up for buying three more dongles for my own layout and probably another four for the club layout. TIA
