  1. The issue of slackening off the motor cradle to give better running isn't just on the 'new' power cars. I've done the same to GWR Purple, GWR Green, and VTEC ones in the past. Cheers, Phil.
  2. The Hope Valley training runs seem to have been always 68020 or 68024 every time I've seen it, but last week 68034 put in an appearance. Cheers, Phil.
  3. If not all the White ones, then certainly a good chunk of them !! The Green one has the different style ribs too. Cheers, Phil.
  4. I have a rake of 12, these being the first two batches of 6 that were released, so all different numbers. IIRC, only one of them needed the the 'ribs' removing to make the bodystyle prototypical to the number. Cheers, Phil.
  5. Steady fella, I haven't got around to sending you the rest of the pics yet !! 😅 Looking good so far. Cheers, Phil.
  6. I've been able to do that for the last 30-odd years.....🤣🤣 What's even more worrying is, so can my Mum !! Cheers, Phil.
  7. I can't replace the 54 H****y ones I have already !!! ( A full set of 'BR' versions, plus 007, 031, 044, & 049 as they are now. ) There are a few more duplicates I quite fancy doing though.....😅 And if Fearless ( my favourite ) was done in LL, that may well end up on my noisy layout.... With reference to the opening post, Fearless wasn't the only one with missing handrails 🙃 In seriousness, I can't wait to see these ! Cheers, Phil.
  8. I reckon there's at least 2 that you've done the prototype for Mi(c)k.....😅😅 Cheers, Phil.
  9. I reckon in the top pick the door is open and you can see the radiator/air filter ( or whatever it is ! ) inside the loco. cheers, Phil.
  10. Having been lucky enough to see the progress unfold as it happened, I have to say the elevation is amongst the best I've seen. Enough to be noticeable, but subtle enough to look 'right'.... The pic above of the 37 is how it appears to my eye, the 153 pic looks exaggerated (notice the angle of the windowframe in the background) It's just enough to have the 'snaking' motion of a train rounding a seeping curve. Cheers, Phil.
  11. Stop waffling and get on with it.....😜 It'd be nice to see the pics bigger than on my phone.....😉 Cheers, Phil.
  12. 37418 on the rear of todays Derby - Redcar railtour. Cheers, Phil.
  13. 50008 at the head of todays Derby - Redcar railtour. Cheers, Phil.
  14. You sure it was 847 & 849 ?? (the same pair it's been since it started running) Was 848 & 849 when it passed my house this afternoon.... Cheers, Phil.
  15. A couple fro Stowmarket last night. Cheers, Phil.
  16. 66426 TnT with 66126 at Stowmarket last night. Cheers, Phil.
  17. This Piko building definitely needs painting, not leaving as bare plastic !! No idea why the pics are sideways.... Cheers, Phil.
  18. Those small electric motors have lost most of us on the forum an absolute fortune over the years........🙃🙃 Cheers, Phil.
  19. 43194 Okehampton Castle, on the left. 43155 Rougemont Castle, on the right. 194 is the only one I noticed with the nameplate significantly lower than the others. cheers, Phil.
  20. A few views from a recent holiday in Cornwall.... Falmouth. Redruth. Penzance. Par. No idea why these 2 are showing sideways !! St Erth. Guess where.... Cheers, Phil.
  21. Had a trip behind this beauty a couple of weeks ago... First time I've travelled on the Bodmin line, and I thoroughly enjoyed it ! Cheers, Phil.
