I would have reported it straight away. When you do it in the morning they will log it but may do little else. However, your evidence may convince them to act; the BTP are fairly keen on crossing misuse (around here any way).

I was doing PE on the field with my class at a small school in rural Dorset; a beautiful September day with not a cloud in the sky.

I knew nothing about what had happened (primary school's can be in a world of their own) until I was driving home and all the radio stations seemed to have news on them, which I felt strange for mid-afternoon. Took me awhile to realise the enormity of it all.

Yup that 'clean coal' system just faded away. I wonder why? I agree that other things should be developed for energy production but I also think energy wastage is rampant in this country.

Was there not a system called water "scrubbing" where the residue could be compressed into building materials? If the will was genuinely there it could be sorted. NAFI

      locoholic

It's a historic day, to be sure, but deep coal mining is a very dangerous & environmentally damaging industry. All the carbon capture technologies use a lot of energy themselves, & none works properly. Time to ditch coal, just like other redundant industries like charcoal burning and tin mining, sadly.
