  2. as finally given up tracklaying in the shed today. 38°C/100°F even that's a bit hot . Loves the dry heat but it's a bit on the humid side today.

  15. so enjoyed 'Earth, One Amazing Day' a BBC/Chinese production with superb images, wonderful music and superbly narrated by Robert Redford. Get to see it if you can.

      Just caught the end, looked marvellous. I'll have to watch it properly on iPlayer tomorrow! If you want to record it, its being re-shown on BBC2 at 10AM on the 23rd.
