  1. No, 2nd radius. Look at the train set contents list.(which turns out to be wrong, it should be 3rd radius).
  2. This has been covered several times, the images are of existing OO models with TT couplings added. See the World of Railways site for some actual model photos.
  3. Hornby's market research must have identified a market for this stuff, they wouldn't have gone to the expense of creating it otherwise. The question is does that market still exist in these difficult times?
  4. Here's one of my comparison photos again, with labels.
  5. Do I spy traction tyres on the A3? (rear drivers).
  6. It would appear that your glass is half empty. I'm not getting that many negative vibes here.
  7. Online @ Hornby only? I hope the packaging is Hermes proof (or whatever courier they will be using by then). A notable omission from the rolling stock is a BR 16 Tonner mineral wagon, hard to model the post-war railway without loads of those.
  8. Hi Rob. The answer is neither. I took a close up photo of the cabside of the Bachmann N class model in SECR livery, edited it and printed it on ordinary white paper using a laser printer. The result is ok but an etched one would be better, maybe someone does them now?
  9. The mess van isn't lined, so maybe they escaped from the factory while the other SR coaches are being lined.
  10. When I entered by card details into their new payment system there was a tick-box for applying it to all pre-orders. Maybe you missed that ?
  11. No, a few others as well. See the link in this post: As others are delivered more may cancel, there is no charge for pre-ordering.
  12. Or maybe the cost of living crisis is biting. Some peoples financial circumstances may have changed for the worse since they ordered theirs.
  13. Try Gutzold No.01170 . Another alternative is Lima L600862 . I picked some up in Paris about a decade ago.
  14. On the individual product pages the price is £66.95 , a saving of £11 on the RRP of £77.95 . Is this correct?
  15. The Hobby Shop are having a loco sale with at least 20% off - GOIN' LOCO
  16. Or maybe they'd rather announce a OO version somewhere other than TINGS ?
  17. A RTR model announced today, but in N gauge: Well it's a start. Note them using the preserved 126 as a reference.
  18. There was loads in my local WHS yesterday, perhaps they should spread them around better.
