      There is a gismo you can get (high frequency)that deals with all this sort of pest thing. I can recommend it but not sure about effectiveness on neighbours!

      The Vaseline makes the curry mix stick to the fur better! We do have one of the ultrasound contraptions, which we keep running whilst at work. It takes a couple of days to have an effect, but has proven to be a useful tool in my ongoing fight.

    Axle-breaking potholes on the M6 in the roadworks to 'upgrade' to a 'Smart Motorway'. Nice to see someone has got their priorities right!

      The upgrade includes full resurfacing to give a 6 year maintenance free window as a reward to customers. Patch repairs will be the responsibility of Kier as the main contractor during the road works. You can email Highways England to register your displeasure.

    Can anyone tell me what the snow levels are like in the Rossendale valley area? Blackburn/Burnley or Bury/Bolton areas will also be okay. Trying to work out if this weekend's visit to the in-law's is a good idea! Thanks!

      I'm around Burnley & all the main roads are clear. The only snow is up on the tops but all main roads in & out are fine.
