Hi Captain,
Point rodding looks good, certainly worth doing. I still have more to do on Llanbourne, just wish I had done it before ballasting etc as you have done.
Cheers Peter.

Hi Dave,
Well done on pic of the week.
It's been a while since I have seen pics of your layout, it looks superb as does the stock. Love the breakdown train. Any more pics?
Cheers Peter.

Hi James,
The 37s look good, as do the wagons I think you have the weathering spot on, the insides look great.
I have a few pics of green 37411 at Eastleigh depot that I took back in Feb. I will post them on your thread if you like.
Cheers Peter.

Hi Pugsley,
I must admit I liked the layout from the other side when I saw your pics the other day, but having seen the pics above I think you have got it. The slope does need to be at the front. Now you can crack on and get the track layed and wired up, you will be playing trains by the end of summer.

Hi James,
I've been watching your progress on this, it looks great. Nothing stopping you from doing something else in brass, any plans.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Andy,
I have followed your progress on this one as I am a bit of a Crompton fan.
She looks really good, I think the green really suits the 33s though I never saw one in service.
One of the mods I did on my 33s was to narrow down the Fuel tank saction by 2mm so that it sits in line with the chassis and not the body, I think some of the later locos had this fixed, and yours my be ok but I am not sure from looking at your pictures. Just though it may be of interest to you.

Looking great Pugsley,
Definitely have a go at the sun- shields I have been planning on having a go at doing it on a 4mm loco, as you say they are quite visible.
Did you use 4mm numbers for the 37415 TI just above the door?
Cheers Peter,

Hi Pugsley,
Looking great mate, you are going to have to have clean windows on the loco when you've finished, so you can see all the super detail work you have done.
Cheers Peter,

I like what you have done with the underframes. Now where's my knife!!
Are you going to remotor the beast? I have been thinking about doing mine.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Pugsley,
I think this 37 will be finished before your 4mm stuff. I hope your ETH bits didn't go down the plug hole.
As for the lamp brackets I think there were a few 37/4s with the western type I know 37428 had them at one end.

Hi Chard,
long time follower of your layout thread and blog,
Your Brush 4s are looking good, I am working on one myself and Pennine MC had some useful pics on the old forum which shows the bogie mods and what he did about improving the the fuel tank and battery box area. I have done the same on my loco and it didn't take too long, always a bonus as I tend to get bored if things take to long or get difficult.
Cheers Peter,

I do like your loco fleet, but the Bachmann MK2 in in Scotrail looks great, I am hoping Bachmann bring out some MK2s in Trans-Pennine livery , but it looks like I will be doing the same as you, and repainting a few.

I love the damage to the side of the loco and the nameplate, but that detail behind the windows is superb.

Hi Alex,
Looking good, though I would be more worried about doing the transfers on that many wagons than building the bogies.
Cheers Peter.

Hi James,
I am trying to get some cash together for 25095, I heard a friends 25245, Bachmanns other sound chipped 25. I think its the best factory fitted sound loco yet. A friend of mine is going to reprogram it for me so I can run it on Llanbourne which is DC, I wont get all the options, horn sound etc but I just want that Sulzer thrash. I did notice that Bachmann haven't painted the tail light surrounds but thats an easy fix. Another thing is the steps on the body side will need plating over, as you said it does have other faults but with a bit of work they do look alright.
The question is will you be able to stop at one Blue diesel.
Cheers Peter.

Thanks Peter - I'm sure you could do it, it's pretty basic and if I can do it, anybody can, really!
It's a JLTRT 37 in the white box of joy
Oooooooh Nice, and you think you are going to finish the 00 layout. You will have to be strong, the 7mm boys are quite persuassive, once they know you have a weekness. I should know they got me.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Pugsley,
Your 09 does look great, and your Photoshopped pics is better than anything I could do.
Are you going to tell us what 7mm loco/ wagon, is in the box.
Cheers Peter,

Hi,
I do like the Crab, used to see them at Eastleigh all the time. They were quite common on the Meldon ballast trains. I would love to have a go at one, but can't really justify one on my layout.

Hi Pugsley,
I like the the marks where the double arrows have deen removed ,nice touch. I was just thinking the other day about a board I could lay some track on, it would allow me to take pics outside, my other option is to knock some holes in the garage wall.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Alex,
Looks like I will be seeing Grimley sooner than I thought. Great to see you on here mate love those HAAs and 56s.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Mike,
Fantastic, 33006 looks spot on, whats next.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Pugsley,
Thanks for sharing, it was interesting. One of my first posts on RMweb was on your workbench thread. Your weathering techniques have inspired me. I now use Acrylic paints far more than I ever did, and I am getting some good results. Those US modellers certainly know how to weather stuff.

Hi Peter
thanks for the comments - the parts crates are A1 models, a bit fiddly to solder together but well worth it when they're done! Can't remember how much they are but only a couple of quid a pack of 5 if I remember correctly! I've got a load more half done to go on the back of a Bedford TK as a delivery of parts includind brake shoes and coupling links!
Thanks for that Dave. I think I will get myself a pack.
Cheers Peter,

Hi Dave,
The layout is looking great I like the loco shed. Who make the blue crates? the clutter around the shed really brings it to life.
Cheers Peter,
Scenic photo plank/board complete... for now ?

Hi Jon,
Pics look great, as James said the track and ballast look superb. What layout plans do you have? The Deltics would look great siting on shed. my only memories are seeing them storming up the ECML just North of Kings Cross. I think they would look good on a set of air cons, though you will need a bit of room for that.
Cheers Peter.
