  1. Do people seriously not know how to use roundabouts anymore?! Second (minor this time) accident on one in 4 weeks. Silly old pr!ck straight lined his lane, wanders into mine and side swipes the front of my car, then has the absolute cheek to blame me saying I drove into his lane! My bloods still boiling about it now!

I find Mini Roundabouts are worse, people don't see them and don't know how to use them if they do.

People should remember to give way to traffic ALREADY ON a mini roundabout I never did Mini roundabouts when I took my driving test and until son and heir learned I thought they were give way to traffic on your right like their full size cousins

  2. Man, cars are expensive. Damn Chrysler cost me just shy of a grand to get through its MOT! And that was just for tyres and brakes...

Tyres are 225/60 all round on 18" alloys. I've had budgets before but after spinning a car in the wet due to it having no grip, I don't go for them now. Good set of brakes is a hundred quid for the front discs alone. Hey ho, joys of car ownership!

That's gonna a pricey one sub39h! Had my gearbox & diff oil and coolant done last year. That's one expense not needed for a few more years!

I did have a fancy for a 4x4, probably should've gone with that fancy! Word from the garage is that it's bent at least two conrods, with four being bent a slim possibility.

Currently drive a Chrysler 300C V6 CRD, which isn't bad on fuel but would be happy with something a bit less economical! Got a van provided by work so not as if it's going to be adaily driver! I'd love another 300C with a 6.1 Hemi but need an estate for practicality and they're uncommon and a bit more than I could afford. Fancy an SUV too! A Volvo XC90 or Jeep Grand Cherokee fit the bill but a Mercedes ML420 CDI (or ML63!) is also on the list! If money was...

Well, the deskptop was upgraded from 7 when 10 became available. I used it as a Guinea Pig, as my main machine is a laptop. The deskptop has run fine, bar the odd freeze up of Firefox, and for the last month has been running brilliantly. But since getting an update on Sunday (which took nearly 5 hours to do!), the whole thing is totally unstable and takes several minutes to do anything simple. The laptop is still running 7, I've had no updates come through as yet to go to 10.

The plastic tubes are very brittle after a while and there's not a lot you can do but replace them, but the injectors will come out, you just need brute force and the bolts will undo, then just make sure you retrieve the copper washers ( gaskets).

    4. SWT442

      SWT442

Aye, that's the plan. Was surprised how brittle the plastic was, took no effort to break. I'll have another crack today, there's a bit of play on the injectors so hopefully they'll budge with patience or ignorance!
