  1. They are a nice little kit. Phil from Intentio knocked the design up one Friday evening. They're available on his website.
  2. First new bit of detail for the new layout. Other than boards and the WRD everything else we have RTP has come of the previous incomplete layout.
  3. Given its such a glorious day I thought I'd get my immaculate Ford Granada out and take it for a spin............
  4. Ta, just on the lookout for something interesting and not UK outline for a future exhibition.
  5. On top of those mentioned other suppliers include: https://kslaserdesigns.com/ Now part of Intentio. https://railwaylaserlines.co.uk/ LCut Creative Northumbrian Painting Services Pop Up Designs All depends how detailed a kit you want and what you want. I keep looking at some of the Pop Up Designs stuff but I have no justification for anything at the moment.
  6. Hi Paul, Have you got an overall view or a track plan at all?
  7. Very rare, I think that's the first picture I have seen of them loaded with sleepers. They are Peco 7mm Individulay Concrete Sleepers and match sticks. In 4mm I'd probably strip a length of Peco Concrete Flexi and use some 1mm square plastic suitably painted.
  8. After seeing an inspirational picture in another thread, I managed to source some Peco Concrete Sleepers. So this afternoon I have sat in the garden in the sun and made up enough loads for two wagons. I think they look rather good and adds another dimension to the train.
  9. Sorry for hijacking this thread again, but this picture inspired me to put some loads together for a couple of my Turbots:
  10. This week, in between continuing with the Turbots, I have made a start on a second HRA. Dave from Skytrex managed to find some more HTA bits which got handed over at Doncaster. Still need the hoppers and bogies, but the body is now shortened and in one piece, next up filler. Dave is potentially looking to re-release his HTA kit once he has redone some of the master and may well do the HRA as well once I've modified a set of parts for him.
  11. There is usually a DRS 37 sat there (pretty sure its 37422 at the moment) and quite often a WCRC one off a charter.
  12. I couldn't recall the 47's being fitted! It was a fair while ago.
  13. Looks like a GPS aerial but I didn't think 47's were ever fitted?
  14. Progress is slow again with starting a new job, but an enforced weekend at home as meant so valuable modelling time has become available. So some more work done on the second back of Dapol YCV Turbots. The first one is nearly ready to go to Cam for a final blast with an air brush and the others aren't far behind, renumbering done and now varnish is drying before starting to put them back together and start the weathering proper. The problem I am having is remembering what I did with the last ones. Original batch on the right and the new WIP on the left.
  15. You don't have to convert to 7mm to give something a go!!!!
  16. I was only thinking this morning that i'd not seen you post anywhere for a couple of weeks and wondered if you were ok? I guess you've been away working?
  17. Another glorious afternoon in the garden, if you're all getting bored of these please say & I'll stop!
  18. I hate ballasting. Done half the garden myself and I will finish it at some point but we have others in our small group that like it so for the exhibition stuff I leave it to them!!
  19. Fantastic work on the 87's as always. Fancy having a go at something 7mm??
  20. As anyone who reads my WB thread I've been working on a Railway Laser Lines WRD, I've not fixed the open end yet so as the sun was out I have taken it outside and posed a couple of wagons. I am quite happy with the result.
  21. More work on the WRD this week, finally go the shell in paint. I had to go and buy some more primer as my order still hasn't turned up. The front is still loose allowing some of the pictures below, and so is the roof as I am going to modify it so it can be removed at exhibitions as I intend adding various bits of interior. Took it outside for some pictures as the sun is out. Dapol YCV sat in the WRD, think this is my favourite of the set. Paul Rolley MAB: Paul Rolley POE Blackadder:
  22. That's looking fantastic Robert, I really need to get my painter to get mine finished of so I can do the final assembly.
