  1. Looking good. How do I sign up to swap my unlined 'run 1' car for one with the "correct lining" ?

I believe prunes are often recommended if you need help moving.
  3. Since you are on a roll, are you supporting England or the Barbarians today? 😀
  4. Yes, it looks great for now, but Sheepbloke will need a lot more trees and shrubs at the front if he starts running panniers.
  5. The bar was set and reset by (at least) two of the previous incumbents.
  6. As others have said: avoid bubble wrap. I bought an unboxed loco off eBay which arrived safe and sound but I left it stored in the bubble wrap and it now looks like it has been attacked by an octopus. I am convinced by the logic of wrapping stock in pieces of well-washed 100% cotton sheet.
  7. 😀 Is the farmer taking his pig for a walk or trying to talk it down?
  8. You mean Claire didn't see it coming?! 😲
  9. Good point. Let's get back to measuring tolerances in half ewes.
  10. Best wishes to Mo. Hope she's soon well again.
  11. I had the same thought. The further I read, the more I expected it to evolve into something comedic. I began to expect the final recommendation would be a medieval castle.
  12. https://www.hamodels.net/labelle-oils-grease.html Not cheap but it will last you for years.

  14. The Maserati owner won't be pleased. Spent all weekend polishing it and some bloke turns up with a loo brush and a coal scuttle and splashes stuff all over it.

I bet the Latvians were surprised to see Laa Laa arriving in port!
  16. I thought the Bentley was owned by Ivo Peterborough. Has he sold it on?
  17. I assume you mean extruded PIR (Polyisocyanurate) board rather than polystyrene? Common brand names being Celotex and Kingspan. I have to say, it isn't the first material that comes to mind for shelves. A solvent-free grab adhesive will work. My favourite is Screwfix No Nonsense brand: https://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-grab-adhesive-solvent-free-white-310ml/87451 (Blimey. I'm glad I have plenty in stock. Last time I bought some, less than two years ago, it was half that price!)
  18. Hi Ron, You might find this interesting. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/castlefield-viaduct
  19. Odd behaviour of 'Load more activity' button? Was OK yesterday.
  20. Perhaps Dobby is more adept at hiding the bodies?
