RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted November 26, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2016 In previous years, it has been at the Wetherspoons in the foyer at 13:00. I aim to be there tomorrow! Better luck than we had last year - there were just two of us there (and we waited until nearly 13.30)

Or will they be doing both an Ivatt and a de-streamlined one. Dave Franks. Edit... as now posted elsewhere, they are doing an Ivatt. Way hey.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to shove in that rude dig: if you'd listened to the announcement instead of assuming the worst, you'd have heard them say they were tooling for both types of non-streamlined Duchess. MarkSG
Here's the queue, 30mins before opening IMG_3625.JPG That's one of the reasons I prefer to go on Sunday. I'm less bothered about snapping up the bargains from the traders, I prefer a bit more space to look at the layouts.

Paul Well Hornby do have a reputation for putting up the wrong photos of new releases don't they. Anyway I did acknowledge the facts in an edit. Quite pleased actually. Coppercap
TMC have announced 17 wagons being produced for them by Bachmann. Includes plate wagons, insulated ale wagons and a Maunsell cycle van. What is insulated ale? Chris In similar vein, why do plates need special wagons? Are there wagons specifically for both cups and saucers? And what's a Maunsell cycle? Or did Mr Maunsell not want to put his cycle in the guard's compartment with all the others, so he had a van built for the exclusive transport of his cycle?
