Kings Moreton, (1980's BR)

Mr Peters

I have been finking about your station now you have a proper means of transporting the local passengers in that lovely DMU. How about a partially over grown platform. Keep a small section free of weeds, about the length of the DMU, add a bus shelter type structure and let the rest of the platform become a haven for wildlife. That would really give it that 1980s feel of "We don't care about rail passengers".

Good idea :)

Some more pics from this morning. :O

BTW, PLEASE Let me know if I'm boring you all. :stinker:

Bored of BR Blue?

Never!

I say, “Please Sir, May I have some more?” (said in best Oliver Twist accent)

A 40 or two wouldn’t go amiss, wink wink nudge nudge!

Definitely not! However, unless I’m missing something you do seem to prefer using and photographing the same locos. Some locos such as the Class 25, 37401, 47001, 47436 and the Class 50s don’t seem to as much of a look in, except on shed. Edited by brushman47544

Thanks Dougie, I'm afraid the only 40 I have is Auriol / 97407, so I'll get that out in the next Photo Shoot / Running Session for you.

Yes I agree, young Dougie has asked for a 40, and so I do need to ring the changes a bit, and so I'll do that in the next lot for you as well Andrew.

Would be more interesting if you feature something in two tone green with white window surrounds :locomotive:

Thanks, but most of my early stuff is now sold, I just have a Type 3 / Class 33, and a Class 24, left now.

Hahah, Cheers, I've wound it forward from the last lot of Brown Vans and 16T Minerals to Railfreight / Speedlink, I'll need to dig out the R/F Red stipe Locos again soon.

You've achieved some good progress since I last looked in Andy

I like the pink HEA's!

Trev :)

Hi Trev, good  to see you back, the HEA'S came from a purchase at the Stafford Finscale event last summer, there all 3 link, but I've fitted Kadee's to the two end ones.

Lets start a new page with the Blues, again from last weeks Running Session.

There will be some new stuff out later, with Large Logo Red Stripe Motive Power.

Firstly with the Door / Canal Section, and it's support cradle removed, here is the Fiddle Yard.

Hi there Andy,

Ive been wanting to replicate these for a while now!

Had a little sabbatical, trying to get my mojo going haha! (wish I had your oomph for building layouts!)   :good:

Cheers

Trev :)

Had a little Running Session before going to the Gym this morning, and dug out the L/L Red Stripes.

Another great set of photos Andy and, if you are enjoying running the layout so much, perhaps KM will have a much longer life in TOPS.

I do think the Black 5 needs liberating from the shed for a steam special.

I don't mind you getting the camera out and producing the kinds of photos you are producing. Take all the time you need!

Mike

Thanks Mike, I've dug out the Fuji Camera, and hope to pop up some shots later, first look through the lens looks promising so far.
