RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted November 5, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) Lovely weathering on those locomotives - very neat indeed. I would very much like to see your take on weathering a Peckett, young man, if I may be so bold? Edited November 5, 2018 by Captain Kernow

Obviously photos will play their part. I will aim for a hard working but looked after look. Somewhere between these methinks... Rob.

Bogusman
Nice to see a photo of No 5 on slough estates. Still remember the locos running in the late 60s and early 70s Pete Edited November 8, 2018 by Bogusman

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted February 9, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted February 9, 2019 I thought I would post a few photos in order to bring Mutton up to speed. Some may be repeats but hopefully you will forgive me for that. Mutton is booked for a few exhibitions this year and continues to evolve and provide fun and games. Not entirely but yes, waiting on the Dapol 14xx to appear. Looking for two examples in BR green. A small layout will ensue, probably next year. Two possibilities; Baacombe-a scaled up Sheep Lane. Ewestock- a nod to Culmstock. Both will feature 14xx and milk tanks.. What could possibly go wrong....... Rob 7

Given the quality of your work in 4mm scale, and the wonderful atmosphere you create through your modelling, I think us followers will be in for a real treat! Have you had any thought as to the size of a potential O gauge layout yet, or is it still too early to say? Cheers, David Edited February 20, 2019 by south_tyne Added some stuff....
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted February 20, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted February 20, 2019 Thank you David. Kind of you to say so. It's a bit early to say yet. I'm currently building Bleat Wharf, the third small layout and haven't given anything else any further practical thought. I would like to do Lamb Regis to compliment Mutton. That would be the largest yet with the station area itself coming out around the 7ft mark, with a fiddle yard of some 4ft. Anything in 7mm would follow the same pattern as these other layouts. Small and compact.
