In my youth, we used to visit my grandparents in Plympton. They lived opposite Tavistock Junction marshalling yard separated by the Tory Brook, which used to run white! (cleaned up now). There used to be a river running down to Pentewan that was actually called "White River" Quite clearly it needed renaming and is now "St Austell River" EDIT Looks like it was a local Nickname as it was St Austell River in 1907! RMweb Premium Blandford1969 Posted February 19, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 19, 2020 Overpriced is not unusual there is a load of Finecast chassis kits on at more than the new price from Finecast, especially when you compare the difference in postage costs! The Claughton is a disaster, the valve gear is wrong and the paint looks like its been daubed on. Mind you all of the things listed by that seller are very expensive for what they are!
