mullie
Rob Really good to meet you yesterday and Bleat looks even better when you see it for real, a real credit to your modelling. Martyn
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted April 30, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 30, 2019 Morning Martyn. Thank you. It was good to see you and have a chat. The modelling side of it all does get a little diluted on here at times and it is nice to get the layouts out and about. The week leading up to the show was a bit of a rush to be honest. Bonkers in fact. I wanted to get Bleat to a standard that I felt was good enough to present to other modellers.........and everyone there was a very fine modeller. People were very kind and I have to say I was very pleased with how Bleat looked. I had a bit of an epiphany really when I operated the layout for the first time at the show.........and having set up that morning, it was the first time it had been properly set up and operated in that form. It really did do exactly what I had hoped for. Easy to transport, set up and operate.......albeit with the occasional cough and f**t. Bleat, god bless it's static grass, still has quite a few rough edges, owing to the rush but I can address those in the coming months. The whole day was an absolute privilege to be part of...........and to have the opportunity catch up with fellow modellers such as yourself was a real pleasure. Splendid!
