"Driver stopped for a brew ####" discussed of darlington. ... Hst pics I did a complete 7 coach Hst set of photos windows... blanked filler pipe hole etc . I know all these are staying in the same livery, but for me, the split between the 2 lower Grey colours on the bodyside, so it is below the bodyside windows instead of through them, means the sides get repainted. This also gets rid of the black below the cabside windows, which I think is a visual improvement. I'm doing 672 in the same condition as the Kernow limited edition, but I had the loco, transfers, plates, arrows and Diamonds before they announced it, and mine will only have 1 lamp bracket on each end like the prototype ! I was going to mask all the grilles and leave them in their original colour, but I realised 672 needed the extra bracing strips adding, so I'd have to paint them anyway.
