Gerbils probably taste better though. Life is not long enough to scrape exploded mackerel off the inside of a microwave. Don't ask... I bought a new microwave in the end. 1 3

RMweb Gold teaky Posted May 1, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 1, 2020 Really? And what do you do with your spiritually aware woollen wear, Captain? hetti - (adjective) Often used in the modern day festival and jam band subculture to describe something or someone that is woke, spiritually aware, or of a superior quality. 1

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted May 14, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 14, 2020 The 74XX progresses a bit further. The chassis has been re-assembled after painting and weathering, although the rods have yet to be painted and weathered and the axle nut covers are not yet in place. The vacuum and steam heat pipes have been added since this photo was taken. Once I've decided on which crest to put on the pannier tanks, I'll then varnish the body and weather it. 14

I see what you're getting at, but this is the kind of thing that I just couldn't contemplate! It would just worry away at me. No, sorry, just can't get my mind round that one! I know that Chris Lammacraft only put valve gear on one side of one of his 45XXs for use on his EM gauge layout 'Ashburton' many years ago, on the premise that the loco would only ever be seen on one side, but that kind of bothered me as well! 3
