Chris56057
I think we need some standard EWS 37/4's before anything else comes along.. 2
37081LochLong
I remember hearing about the "washable" paint 😁 I did hear it was quickly repainted ASAP but knowing British Rail, ASAP could mean anything lol

Intercity was the preserve of pullmans and hsts at this time.. Edited October 12, 2023 by adb968008 3

I know they all have subtle differences and there isn't a "standard" EWS 37/4. My post was merely to suggest AS doing an EWS machine in the future. Southernman46
One of a few really clever well made ads for Inter-city at the time - the "slip off your shoes" one is worth a look too 👍 Made around the time when BR was entering a purple patch Inter-city, ScotRail, NSE - just before the malaise that started when the "Cons" announced it would be privatised and things started to be trimmed for easy sale. RMweb Gold adb968008 Posted October 13, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 13, 2023 As an aside, are there any other non-preserved locos that have been running unidentified on the network ? afaik 37093 never carried a number in this livery. That needs to be in TTG with Transrail logos with its nameplates and BZ depot plaques 😉 I saw this 37 at Aviemore a few weeks ago. Thankfully in better condition. I would imagine the BZ 37/6's would be very popular if Accurascale announced them. Cheers, Mark

Pikey
I have a question - what are the 4 tiny things that look like the ends of a shovel, included in the detailing pack for 97301?

These are the brackets for the centre snowplough. If you’re not installing the ploughs you can put these on the bufferbeam instead
Glencoe Model Railway
This beauty arrived yesterday as I was literally on my way to work. Only D6703 to come of the current batch for me, and then it’s next year before 37422 arrives. Sadly 6703 no longer fits in my plans but will hold on to it anyway, guess I’m a sucker for the class!

Well, I did the same with 607 so I have decided that it will turn HNRC orange. Now, who recommends an acrylic orange??!
