Show us yours - Realistic modelling

The eponymous 97406 - a Lima loco that's been altered 3 or 4 times in its life.

 

The photo was taken with the camera on a tripod and the smallest aperture the camera can manage (F13.6 as it happens), which means a decent depth of field so as much of the photo as possible is in focus. I let the camera govern the exposure automatically, but it was a few seconds.

Does "modelling" include computer generated modelling? These are rendered images of 3D models Ive created in Sketchup but am still to physically print.

Almost entirely believeable, superb work on all levels.  Minor and highly pedantic point, the headlamp code is wrong, set for Class C fully fitted, which this train cannot be because the leading vehicle is an unfitted ex GER van.  Anyone who points out that I have no place to criticise this image until I can do as well is entirely justified!

 

If somebody could provide a steam/smoke effect as good as this I'd be a very happy, if poorer, bunny.

Fowler 3F Jinty 7309 rests between shunting duties alongside Black 5 45110. GWR Castle 4-6-0 5029 Nunney Castle can just be seen opposite the ex-LMS 4-6-0.
