Popular Post mullie
Some photos of Upbech Drove taken at the recent SWAG exhibition in Taunton. Big thank you to Jamie @SouthernRegionSteam for taking them, really flatter the layout, make it look a lot bigger than it actually is. The layout is EM gauge. 28 2
Popular Post Cowley 47521
I feel like I’m bombarding this thread this week but it’s just that I took a load of photos the other day! These ones are of a midweek light engine 47 run up to Lapford to pick up some fertiliser traffic bound for Riverside Yard Having run through the station the RfD 47 rolls into the collection siding. Pulls the wagons out and deposits them in the platform before running round: And heading back to Exeter: (the weather seems to have brightened up in the last one) 31

Being a fictional railway it doesn't have many locos of its own (just a few I like which aren't preserved), so everything that is preserved is on loan.

RMweb Gold Popular Post MP40058 Posted May 8, 2022 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted May 8, 2022 The final section of my layout East Road Goods is now complete. This is the section to the west of the goods yard. The goods yard area was completed last week. The goods shed is scratch built and modelled on the buildings that were found at Nairn and Brora on the Far North line. 52 9

And very, very good it is too. Nice to see that my Jade Green Mk1 Escort survived all those years. It looks in fine fettle for a 1969 car. Quite unexpectedly in the mid 60's 4 or 5 of these locos from the Western Region turned up at Patricroft - local to me - including 82000 itself, in plain green, to spend their last days.

Those 3 where the last survivers in storage and then went to I think Cashmores to be cut up - last one cut up in October 1968, I'd have to check my 82xxx documents to confirm
shedman
I was brought up on the Central Division of the former LMS, and Stanier designs are my favourite locos. So my layout represents a preserved line somewhere in that territory. Here 42968, 45110 and 48624 line up outside Highfield Shed, South Lancashire Railway, in the early morning at the start of a Gala Day. 15
