Hello everyone,

During this week the amended production samples arrived with Ben at Revolution which were then sent up to us in Scotland for final approval. The factory in China have done a great job getting the slight revisions made to improve the colour density in a couple of areas. I was really pleased opening the box for the first time and seeing the difference this has made.

Whilst none of us wanted this slight delay it really has been worth the extra couple of months to get the finished wagons up to the standards we want to see as modellers ourselves. They are now ready to leave China and we are just waiting on shipping schedules and estimated delivery to the UK.

If you’ve not ordered yet, we still have all 19 wagons available and orders can be placed now ready for despatch when the wagons arrive into stock with us.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered already, we will post further news of delivery dates soon.

thank you

Mark

Rainbow Railways

Thanks Mark

There is a gap on ‘Carlyon Dock’ that needs filling with these wagons.  It will allow the slurry loading facility to do some work!

I think that email must be an typo - the models should be here within the next few weeks, and within Q2.

cheers

Hi thank you for your order, don’t worry about the Jan 24 date. We set an automated date far in advance on pre-orders to avoid them activating early.

thanks

Mark

Soldered up a pair of Dinghams before work this morning, just in case they arrive in time for Demu.  I think the black one will not look too out of place unweathered. (Although maybe if I stick the paints in the stock box I could weather them on the Friday after set up………

I've put some EM wheels in just to see how they look on the layout. Will do a proper conversion soon... which basically means aligning the brake blocks. I'm quite pleased with them :)

Mine arrived today too. They are an extremely attractive wagon and with the option to make a nice rake  with the variants available. They are also very free running. So congratulations to Revolution and Rainbow railways.I hope these sell well and you will be encouraged to produce another chemical or gas wagon soon.

Nice job. The grey seems a bit light but weathering can sort that out.

One slight problem, the ladder is at the left-hand end on each side, it should be at the top hatch end on each side!

Edit: this seems to be only on 3 wagons so far, a fair few of the others seem to have opposing ladders.

Are you sure they  aren't oddball ones?  every other picture on Paul's site shows the ladder on the left hand side

Pretty sure the ladder here is not at the hatch end
