Fredo
Hi, are you intending to do Crews for the Class 31’s that are appropriate to the different periods of the loco’s life you are modelling? Fred

Goodnight Sweetheart
Will the 31 have the same fully detailed alternative buffer area option like the 66? That was a fantastic feature saved a whole load of hassle.

stewartingram
I believe, possibly on the 1st batch only, the middle side door originally had no vent. 1 1

It has to be said - this is really fabulous and includes the most accurate rendition of the windscreen area I’ve seen on a model of a Brush Type 2 - diesel and electric models in OO often seem to get the pillars too wide but this looks perfect (possibly the fine rendition of the windscreen rubber helps this). I’ve just been comparing it with Graham Wareham’s Flickr photo of it at Stratford in the late 60s (where it had a D!!) - good to see there’s room to add Ds for the pre August 68 modelling officianados 😀 Edited April 30 by MidlandRed 6 1
The Evil Bus Driver Posted Friday at 07:46 Share Posted Friday at 07:46 According to Accurascale the 31s are due in the next 6 weeks so not long at all. I'd be allowing 2 extra weeks for the diversionary shipping route and a week to unload and start distribution so I reckon we'll have these in our sticky, grubby palms by early July. The decorated sample at Model World Live looked phenomenal too. Can't wait!

Fran can confirm if that's correct....
