Inspiring !

Curry van ?

Don't overlook 'Big Bertha' now also being in the frame after KR's announcement - which could explain the heat/smokey reference?   If that is a brought forward 2023 announcement that could really start some entertainment for bystanders on the RMweb terraces.

Just  caught up with that announcement . Surely not !

More likely, I hope , Hornby see positive vibes generated by launches at GETS and want to get in on the act . Really hope it’s not another duplication they’ve been working on for years . Big Bertha not really Hornby territory .

Really? A one off loco not Hornby’s thing? LMS Turbomotive, LNER W1, BR Duke of Gloucester. All one offs and done by Hornby. Or are you meaning geographically speaking?

A SR banana van as they've always had one in their range....

Obviously, whatever it is, it’s a duplicate of something someone has just announced.

The “steam” in the clip, is perhaps someone in the Hornby marketing dept stamping their feet, like a petulant child! 🤣 Clouds of dust, being filmed under said stamping feet… 🤣🤣

An announcement of an announcement - Hornby really know how to set off the frothometer!

The fact that the email of the announcement arrived on the morning of GETS, just as other manufacturers were making their announcements seems an unlikely coincidence to me…

They are all express engines, a Hornby specialty.

Big Bertha, very geographically constrained and not often seen at the head of a pounding express.

If it's steam related perhaps it could be further announcements for Hornby marking the 100th Anniversary of Flying Scotsman the centenary in 2023 products. A range of Flying Scotsman locomotives in retro packaging from all eras of Hornby's history? And a special train set or something?

No. It was always at the rear of pounding expresses....

And Hornby only specialise in express locomotives? What about the 9F, Q6, Q1, 8F, etc.?

a Hornby version of Noch’s Sexy Scenes figures.

Popular with the ladies due to their late arrival and an unexpectedly large second run.

I was responding to a remark over 'one off' locomotives - LMS Turbomotive, LNER W1, BR Duke of Gloucester.

Not the general modelbase of Hornby which covers all sorts.
