Here is a list of railway stations never served by rail, all eight of them.

Alloa North

Dartmouth

Gravesend

Hull Corporation Pier

Liverpool Landing Stage

Rosherville

Sheerness

Woolwich Roffs Ferry

Then you could call them "Trainless Stations"😄

TBH, given the very limited facilities nowadays evident at many smaller "stations" maybe the term "Train Stop" might be more appropriate.

Liverpool Landing Stage was rail connected for the dedicated Atlantic liner traffic originating from Euston.  The branch ran mostly in a tunnel from Edge Hill.  (Alisdair)

It had a name and connected to the landing stage.

Liverpool Riverside Station , it was owned by the Mersey Docks & Harbour Board from 1895 to when it closed in 1971.

In LNWR days, you could book a through ticket from Euston and other main stations on the network to Hong Kong, as the Premier Line was connected to Canadian Pacific Railway and Steamships.  Euston-Liverpool, CPS liner to Montreal, CPR Montreal-Vancouver, CPS Hong Kong via Tokyo and Shanghai.

And if you think that's mad, at least it could be accomplished in tolerable comfort.  You could, if you were a serious masochist, book through from Cardiff GW to Paris, but the route was 'fastest depending on tides'.  This could result in a journey from Cardiff (Riverside) on  the Barry Railway to Barry Pier, Barry Railway paddle steamer to Burnham-on-Sea, S&DJR Bournemouth (change at Shepton Mallet), LSWR to Poole, Ouest steamer to St Malo, and Ouest to Montparnasse.  I seriously doubt if anyone ever succumbed to this endurance test, certainly not if they had any idea what they were letting themselves in for, but it was the standard routing at certain times and states of tide; out and out insanity!  Imagine presenting your ticket at the gate and being told to go to the Riverside platforms and leave Cardiff in a Barry non-gangwayed coach heading southwest; I'd have been off at Grangetown for another shot!

Other routes were via Southampton for Cherbourg or via Portsmouth for Newhaven-Dieppe, in addition to the obvious short crossings through London.

Not as far as I know, Woolwich went years ago when the Woolwich ferry started up though the jetty was still in existence until a few years ago almost alongside the current ferry. Gravesend was the last to be used until British Rail ferries were hived off in the 1980's

Alloa North is an oddball as there was a railway there but no passenger station.

Both the North British and the Caley had goods stations close by.

Yes, Dartmouth Station.

The Dartmouth Steam Railway, a heritage line, still run trains from Paignton to Kingswear and operates a ferry across the River Dart, the combined Dart Valley Railway businesses trading as the Dartmouth Steam Railway and Riverboat Company. The ferry service uses the pontoon alongside the company's other boat services and those of the rival Greenway Ferry company. The station building is a restaurant, but railway and riverboat tickets are available from adjacent kiosks. The station environs also remain Dartmouth's bus terminus and taxi rank.

While you are waiting for the train ferry, you can also eat in the nicely refurbished station restaurant.

The GWR had a Goods Station between the Albert Dock and the Pierhead in Liverpool

It did have a rail connection, though it was through the MD&HB dock system and was miles away from any vaguely GWR metals. A bit of imaginative thinking could have made it a rival to Dartmouth, in some small way...

Liverpool has let the Pierhead/Royal Albert Dock area go to pieces since it was first developed as a tourist attraction, as can be seen in my photo, taken in September.  They're going to have to do a hell of a lot of work to pretty it up for the Eurovision extravaganza!

You`d have thought they would have found somewhere a bit bigger to hold Eurovision.

Nah, not with so many countries pulling out.  They could use the Cavern Club.
