RMweb Gold RFS Posted June 13, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 13, 2011 You must have got to the seller! it now says "Lima Coach made in Italy"! Yep - it's certainly been updated! Revision details say title and description revised this morning at 07.43. Didn't know you could change the title after listing has started though. Seller must be an RMWebber! Judging by his rating, yes quite a lot.And despite all the practice he has, he just does not improve. DDolfelin
I've been keeping track of these for some time because I wanted them for Much Wittering (N) as 'excursion' coaches. They fetch very silly prices so I will be abandoning that plan. Gaugemaster don't have the moulds and have no plans to begin manufacturing. Maybe I'll cut down some longer ones! the penguin of doom
Now, I know it's not really very overpriced, but you have to ask, would you pay over 33 quid for this when you can still order them brand new for 30 quid inc postage from Dapol? Alright, the Maroon one is out of stock till the next batch arrives but surely no-one's that impatient..... Wonders never cease! DOH! Helps if you include the link in the post!..... Mind, it means I'm able to link to a second one now too...... Wonders still never cease!..... http://cgi.ebay.co.u...e=STRK:MEDWX:IT and the second one, a little cheaper..... http://cgi.ebay.co.u...e=STRK:MEDWX:IT

RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted June 19, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 19, 2011 I hate free listing weekends, the listings get flooded with over priced tat, dustbin fodder, badly described rubbish and chancers whilst the decent items I want to find are buried beneath all this and take four times as long to find. Torn-on-the-platform
He must surely have meant £100. Whilst this stuff is probably worth closer to £10, there is quite a lot of it! Clearly not an enthusiast so he probably doesn't have a clue what its actually worth. Lots of typos in the descriptions with a few 'lols' for good measure, so I really don't think that he meant to put it as £10,000... However, he may think that £10,000 is a price worth paying so that you can undertake a project with your son/father!
