You get this rather worrying feeling that the further down the page you scroll, the cheesier the photos will get. But she does have rather a lot of skirts......

....... and choppers.

Oh I don't know, I know a couple of women drivers who live in a perpetual fluffy, kitten infested world of loveliness (in their own minds of course) who would find a set of flower themed alloys a must have accessory to fit to their fairymobiles.

There are always some for whom the real world simply doesn't exist.

Plus the annoying one around here in here pink Fiat fart00 with black eyelashes above the headlights.

'Pope's Advisor' has this unusually described 'tractor and trailer unit' for sale.  Hope he's better at advising the pontiff  :jester:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Britannia-Locomotive-Coal-unit-old-stock-/271390727088?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3f3025dbb0

Well he has also this one for sale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Lord-Westwood-Locomotive-coal-unit-with-original-box-old-stock-/271390709166?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3f302595ae as this is came out I think in 1973 for one year and in the cat there should have been white spots as well on it.

I can't imagine why that horror inspired production didn't sell (and is now a sought after 'collectable' - see the bidding - again why?).

I thought that was an april fool joke, however the joke is on the buyers.  (I'm sure all the watchers are RM Webbers)

Probably commented on before but nearly £300 for a 'nellie' is crazy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIANG-Hornby-R359-0-4-0-PRIMARY-INDUSTRIAL-TANK-LOCO-/370489383877?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item5642e35bc5 there's also one at nearly £400 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIANG-Hornby-R359-0-4-0-PRIMARY-INDUSTRIAL-TANK-LOCO-/370489383878?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item5642e35bc6  both 'buy it now", but reality strikes as a more reasonable seller has one for auction starting at 99p http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIANG-Hornby-R359-0-4-0-PRIMARY-INDUSTRIAL-TANK-LOCO-/191065741322?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2c7c67d80a

Apologies if these have been flagged before.

The black versions are quite rare (whether £400 of 'rare' is debatable), as they were quickly replaced with 'Nellie' and later 'Connie' and 'Polly', under the impression that children prefer bright colours (I preferred my trains in the correct colours as a child!)

Lionel produced a pink train set for girls (along with with wheeled rabbits*...), which I gather was not a success. One lady model railroader commented on it scathingly, that she wanted her trains in the right colour - black!)

or this one (scroll down past the bargain properties - about a third of the way down)

The Black "Nellie" was the Primary Series Electric Loco...it replaced the Maroon "Steeple cab" (Same Chassis...). Early ones had the gold Early BR Emblem (Like early R.50 Princesses...)....later the transfer late crest was used.

Not very common...but beware of re-paints!

On certain other train-related forums, the question 'would you?' would have been asked by now, but of course nobody on here is that crude!

Under what section of ebay reporting as the listings do not have a statement to describe this listing.

First, click "Report Item"

On the "File a Report" page, select "Copyright and trademark" from the "Report Category" list.

Then, from the "Reason for Report" list, select "Counterfeit item or authenticity disclaimer".

Last, from the "Detailed Reason", select "Counterfeit, fake or replica item"

Click "Continue", and in the Brief Description box, write something like "Seller is passing off a Hornby model as a Bachmann product."

Click "Send Report", sit back and watch eBay do absolutely nothing about it......

:O   While the models are not that good (one dates from the early fifties and is now well past its sell by date) they didn't deserve this fate (Please give them a decent burial).

A model that your friends will not have on their layout - a burnt out or vandalised guards van.

The first part is right if you substitute 'nobody will have' and the word "vandalised" is certainly correct!

The first two looks like a case of, "Where did I leave the soldering iron...?" or "Can you smell something burning...?" :O
