MarkC
LNER blue for this engine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRFIX-00-GAUGE-LNER-PRAIRIE-TANK-LOCOMOTIVE-MODIFIED-/380831566535?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item58ab548ac7Ah, that gem was being discussed on a FB page the other day, but a brief search in the 'bay didn't find it. That definitely is madness...

Kev_Lewis
dropped In a ash tray maybe? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EX-LNER-A1-/310863557265?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4860e97291 And from the same stable one for the 'They shoot horses don't they?' category http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EX-LMS-Jinty-/310863561313?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4860e98261 Looks like he didn't leave them in the fire long enough to get the proper burnt out effect. RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted February 4, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) Remember this... Not strictly Ebay madness, but Hatton's madness! Surely overpriced by a mile? http://www.ehattons.com/71193/Hornby_Dublo_2050Dublo_LN_Suburban_Electric_Train_Set_SR_EMU_S65326_S77511_Class_501_in_BR_Green_Includ/StockDetail.aspx They usually sell for at most around half that, but this appears to be a really excellent example. Saying that I would want to inspect it carefully first, as I understand that years (50 in this case) of storage can lead to corrosion on the side in contact with the box. (Not that I would part with that much money for one....) well Hatton's now have another for sale for an extra fiver and the first hasn't sold yet. So the for export marking makes it more valuable then...? http://www.ehattons.com/71899/Hornby_Dublo_2350Dublo_LN_01_Class_501_EMU_S65326_S77511_in_BR_Green_boxes_marked_for_export_Pre_owned_Lik/StockDetail.aspx Edited February 4, 2014 by brushman47544
