Thanks Phil.

I have a blue 20, a green 22 and two green 24s, two blue 25s, a blue 26 and a blue 27.

Plus 3 04s, and two 08s

I don't have, or want, any locos with 3-or-more-axle bogies.

As for the brake tender, I don't think the two or three wagon trains on Treamble will need extra braking.

But thank you, most generous.

Weird things, 20s...

Anyway, I've decided I need a footpath bridge over the newly opened end of Treamble.  It struck me that as the one of Truro Station has been there for many years, the same manufacturers might well have made others in the area, to the same design.

This is the bridge :

A cut down (lengthways) version will soon be under construction.

First, there was chaos

Then there was order

But then there was darkness

So then there was light

Now I see why you don't need big Diseasels. I had no idea it was so compact as it looks far more open in the first shots I looked at. Neat.

Phil

It's 4' 11" x 9".

I'll be adding a single track extension on the left and a small 3 road FY on the right at playtime, so it should not 'get in the way' of anyone else...

What is not commonly known, is that Norman Lockhart, who can normally be found near Sheep Lane, has two brothers; Stanley and Fletcher.

Stanley is also a keen photographer, spending his time in deepest Cornwall.

This morning he visited Treamble and found a variety of trucks sleeping in the early morning light.

Made the footpath bridge for Treamble today, based on  the one at the west end of Truro station.

These are the four main parts. Each is made from pieces of T plastic strip, plus flat strip for the diagonals.

When put together, they make this:

Next will be a coat or two of paint - grey and rust.

I have now slapped some paint on the bridge.

There are stone steps to be made for the near end, plus a similar support for the far end, and a thin metal pole structure for the middle.

Plus that corner behind the stops needs some junk adding.

Nice to see Norman getting about a bit. Also pops into Brent so I believe.

Following older brother Norman's example, Stanley dragged himself out of bed earlier this morning and wandered down to Treamble. He was surprised to see an 08 playing with a couple of tar wagons - maybe the council are finally going to build the Rejerrah bypass ?

Stanley was out again this morning. He spotted a couple of new vans, obviously some part of a clandestine or misinformation operation as they both have the same curiously marked number.

The MoD have been looking to move 'supplies' from the Salisbury area to Treamble. Due to the important nature of these commodities, this would be done via a non-stop freight.
In order to both test the route and for driver familiarisation, an un-liveried M7 was despatched and arrived this evening.
Stanley was lucky enough to grap a couple of photos before and after the loco was turned at the Tolcarn Junction triangle.
