Some streets have parking restrictions (time based) on one side of the road on bin day, for that reason. The street round the corner from me, has the trucks reverse all the way down the steepish hill and they start from the bottom, with all bins on the LHS. This action, used to give me 10 minutes notice, for me to put the bin out!
