RMweb Premium Sasquatch Posted August 12, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) t Just standard USA .............. Cup....... Cheeky! Edit: Just for the record Americans don't stir their coffee. They drink it from plastic buckets through straws served at drive-throughs! jcredfer
For the record ....... Mrs R, has travelled quite widely, for one so young ................. and cannot understand why ................... the USA claims to be the coffee drinking country of the WORLD! .................... yet she has yet to taste a cup of American made coffee which is anything other than totally disgusting ....... ............ having travelled to the States far fewer times than her, I have yet to be able to disagree ........................ Which would be quite a coup if it were possible to achieve .......

RMweb Gold westerhamstation Posted August 22, 2015 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted August 22, 2015 Don't worry it's a police decoy bike, glued to the fence, no spokes or brakes and the pedals and chain don't work. and they won't get far as it's only a inch from the edge of the baseboard and a scale 400ft drop. All the best Adrian.(and as Shaw Taylor used to say keep them peeled).

All the best Adrian.(and as Shaw Taylor used to say keep them peeled). I remember playing with a spokeless rim off a bike and a stick, didn't work that well going uphill. Just back from Dover library, seen a book, "Kent 's Lost Railway's", has a small chapter on Branch to Bearsted, with a couple of b/w pic's.

RMweb Gold Alister_G Posted August 22, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 22, 2015 That's a great photo, really atmospheric. I see you've dulled down the paintwork on the car whilst keeping the windows nice and clear... dammit! Is the herbaceous border over the bridge 12" to the foot? RMweb Gold Popular Post westerhamstation Posted August 27, 2015 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted August 27, 2015 Do you remember back in February page 64, post 1593 when I started to provide some shelter for passengers and courting couples at Chevening Halt. The time has come for it to be taken to Chevening Halt and put in place, that just leaves the platform to be installed so that passengers can actually board the train without the aid of a step ladder. Some pictures of progress so far.
Snofi
I remember first coming across your layout a few months ago and spending many hours over many days being absolutely captivated by your work, ingenuity and images. Brilliant stuff! One thing that keeps springing to mind every time I dip back in is a drivers eye video of a trip or two along your line. Would be an amazing journey! RMweb Gold Alister_G Posted August 27, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 27, 2015 Wonderful job mate, it fits in perfectly. The transition from the bottom of the steps to the waiting room must be interesting for those not trained in acrobatics Al.

RMweb Gold westerhamstation Posted September 14, 2015 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 14, 2015 Recently found film footage of the Westerham Flyer 6.05pm special, has just been released by the British Board Of Film Censors. It contains mild scenes of speed and disorientation. So get the popcorn out sit back and see the Westerham flyer in action.
RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted September 14, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) No wonder they closed the line as no one got on or off the train Superb video. I reckon if you convert it to black and white and put on Youtube you may well fool some people. Edited September 14, 2015 by roundhouse
