Ref the use of headcode '2' on the Acton-Euston working:  I've seen a suggestion that this is due to the set working (at least in part) over the DC Lines, and that 'freight' is normally banned so used of '2' is a workaround, otherwise 'computer says No'.

Two possibilities there, is it a path that only shows on Realtime when activated. They sit in TRUST but only record if you tell control to activate them that day. The second is the area control are manually inputting the schedule each day as a VSTP and not always including the same reporting points. We have timing points that are only included in passenger schedules for delay attribution so if you call up that point (stannox) you don't see any freight etc. One or two of our schedules that have long journeys only include the major stations and miss out the small stops like Dean, it may be a limit on the number of stannox in a schedule or just saving time by only including places that are regulating points?

Could anyone if possible tell me what's on the Didcot RHTT Set? Wouldn't mind getting a few photos of those FEA-Bs somewhere en route.

Can't see an allox for them this morning - 3J41/2/3/4

3J44 is canned today.

MPVs DR98982 and DR98932 at work on 17th October 2014 with Wigan RHTT diagram 1, 3S08 06:35 Wigan to Wigan (20:35) via a lot of track miles in Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

The working ventures a few miles into West Yorkshire and is seen here at Paddock approaching Huddersfield, where it reverses.

The boring DBS 66s on the South West RHTT set, photographed today on its Sunday only move to Falmouth....

Antony

May be boring compared to elsewhere, but they do at least provide some additions to the lack of other freight traffic down this way...

Nice pictures by the way!

And returning after a run to Acle and back - I decided to take this from the box window as it's very unlikely I'll get the chance again
