RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted May 13, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 13, 2018 Norman has clearly never had the 'pleasure' of riding in one. Absolutely useless; draughty, uncomfortable, and cold even with the stove glowing red hot, and more rock and roll than Elvis. And the brake isn't particularly good either. Had one on a Cardiff-Hereford for relief job back in the 70s. Once was enough. Fortunately,Norman prefers to look at things for what they are. In his eyes, if it looks right it generally is right. For me, the Bachmann 25T brake van, is a thoroughly nice subject and very well presented by the blue box people........Hopefully I have added to it's appeal with my daubing on of powders. RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted May 13, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 13, 2018 But 2mm sheep look like sheep, not lambs. Lambs have relatively bigger heads to their body size.

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted May 14, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted May 14, 2018 Norman has forwarded a few images of Mutton. He popped in early to catch the first train of the day, the up goods from Eweminster to Lamb Regis. Radial 30583 is in charge today in the hands of Driver Syd James and Fireman Sam Kydd. Plenty of time for them to drop off a ventilated van and have a cup of tea with Ronnie Barker, Porter/shunter at Mutton. After that it's off to Lamb Regis....for a fry up in the mess room at the shed. In the meantime, Norman nipped to Mutton village and a fry up in the Ramsbottom cafe. One of his favourites as they served beef sausages...
