RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted January 12, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 12, 2020 Rob, if you ever find that Sheep1 is unavailable ( due to being commandeered by a higher authority) I've found a potential replacement. 6
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted January 12, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted January 12, 2020 Thanks Stubbers. If I build something which needs a vehicle of that size to transport, then Eweston, we have a problem. Rob. 10
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted January 12, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 12, 2020 I estimate that you could get approximately 40,000 large pasties on that truck, or 9 or 10 big people, assuming they had eaten all 40,000 pasties between them, but I couldn't guarantee on whether the springs would last very long. 2

RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted January 17, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted January 17, 2020 (edited) Morning all. Thank you for your kind words. Bleat is just about ready for it's appearance tomorrow at the Small Cardiff show. It looks to be a good one and I for one am looking forward to it. Hopefully a few of you fine chaps will be dropping in to see us. The show is evolving into a sort of loose Rmweb get together and we have our regulars. There will be a cup of tea and a bacon bap available when you get there . The usual friendly Welsh welcome awaits and I am sure there will be a modicum of banter and frivolity. For all of those travelling to see us, no matter how far, a safe journey. Rob. Edited January 17, 2020 by NHY 581 8

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted January 18, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted January 18, 2020 Norman snapped a strange visitor to Bleat Wharf today. A hydraulic from Devon, travelling via Kernow to a rather unspoilt part of Somerset, visible in Wales...........

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted January 18, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 18, 2020 It was a great show. My thanks to Rob for letting me play trains on his layout again. Other visiting locos included an Austerity tank, visiting from the South Polden Light Railway: and a J72, sold out of service to a local colliery and temporarily stabled in Bleat yard, en-route to Radnorshire:
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted January 18, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 18, 2020 The presence of an LNER engine, even an ex-LNER one, led to some slight consternation: Oh well, you can't win 'em all! 4 1 7
