  2. From WNXX: " Colas Class 67s... 67023 at Crewe EMD and 67027 at Toton, the two Class 67s offered for sale by DBC a few weeks ago, have been reallocated to the COTS (Colas storage pool) from WQAA this afternoon. On the system the ownership codes currently still list them as DBC traction but this will probably change. "
  3. I'll do some more digging on it, seemingly the word spreading is these have moved across and it has showed on a TOPS list, may well be someones sarcastic joke somewhere?
  4. Something from your Chiltern days for you to drive Jim, 67023/027 now re-allocated to the Colas (COTS) test train pool, seemingly the sale of the locos from DB to Colas is now in the public domain, although as of yet not confirmed. Interestingly a number of posts claiming this have miraculously disappeared off forums... (19:45 edit) Edited to correct typo.
  5. Have to admit the Dapol 68 looks increasingly tempting. The tooling looks great, and after todays announcements especially, it's remarkably good value!

  6. I see that bloke of River Cottages efforts to reduce packaging waste has been a success, judging by the comically oversized box and large amount of packing crap my lens has arrived in..

He visited Amazon over their packaging during the program he made, I remember watching it, nothings changed at all!

  7. 66758 has had its modded for sure, the 59 has also had its done as seen here I spotted 66715/748 the other day and both still have full logos but i'll keep an eye out.
  8. Lovely models there George, looks really good! Now that GB have been sold the logos are being modded too to remove the arches either side and the europorte logo removed, but the side emblems seem to be staying unless theres another new livery planned
  9. Happy New Year to the people unfortunate enough to follow me, here's to a good 2017!

  10. 057 & 025 on 1Q90 on Jan 2nd, if 025 could lead the to Derby section it would be much appreciated Nice sunny shot of 057 leading the stock to Ferme Park would go down well Think the first IM job was Thursday?
  11. Merl's next working subject to change and usual T&Cs 3Q40 Derby RTC - Old Oak Common 02/01/17 http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H20632/2017/01/02/advanced

      Yeah, right, whatever …"

Is it just me, or are those Leigh Francis - sorry, Keith Lemon - ads rather irritating?

Thats helpful thank you, the prices are great but wondering if its UK stock or not

    3. Durranhill

      Durranhill

They are classed as Grey goods but they are identical to Canon UK stock & have the same warranty, they get dispatched from HDEW's UK warehouse not Hong Kong like Panamoz .

In that case i'll do a bit more digging and see, SLRHut I know are imports and its a bit of a lottery weather you'll get something good or not

      Thanks!

  17. Nothing puts you in a better mood than having a banging headache and media work to do on the ever useless prezi, which has just deleted the last half an hour of my work.

  20. Hope you don't mind me posting this but 37099 made its test train debut in Colas Rail colours and fitting Merl Evans nameplates tonight, on 3Q85 Derby RTC - Crewe CS via Southport. 37099 - 3Q85 - Warrington Bank Quay by Swifty's Rail Pics, on Flickr
  21. For anyone bored enough (preferably under 40 would be ideal for my target market) fancy filling in my media coursework survey? Link in comments, thanks!

      Revolution Mike

I gave up trying to fill it in for the reason Claude mentioned - some of the questions should be multiple choice not radio buttons

    3. Swifty11

      Swifty11

Thanks all, yes esurv is an annoying website to work with and the changes to the survey settings don't save. I had tried to save it as multi choice but it wasn't having it sadly

The demographic questions I took from the main sheet we were given of questions to ask as the base model so apologies if it offended, it's for target market analysis.

I wonder how long it will be before this one gets released in other colour schemes.

How much they charge for other colour schemes remains to be seen.

GW is limited edition too according to the Hornby Website

      Livery GWR Green

      Limited Edition Yes

      Limited Edition Size 250
