What's a Polish Air Force Hercules doing flying east over 36E at 19.20 on 21/11? Route from Dublin.

The Ukrainians have shown a remarkable capacity to imaginatively utilise anything they're given, and I've seen cockpit video of Ukrainian MI-8s flying so low over arable fields that I've found myself clutching my chair when they approach a tree line. As they won't be using these as weapon platforms I reckon they'll either be using these for insertion/recovery, heavy lift, or depending on the sensor package, possibly anti-sub work where MANPADS are less of an issue. My main concern is mass - if we're adding yet another logistical burden, hopefully we can give them more than 3

Danum Gallery/Library/ Museum in Donny is a great place to visit (check opening times). Perhaps before or after the Donny Show...or anytime really if you are nearby. Google it as I CBA to do a link as it's Sunday.

Was in Ukraine in 2005; small Town called Kolomia. Played with Steam engines for a few days. Went back to Kiev to fly home and visited two very big Loco Depots whilst there. It was all truly amazing and such a wonderful place.
I feel for them; how life is changed.

Why are some folk always out for an argument on social media, Web Cam chat and Forums?

It's going to be mighty blowy here in 36E tomorrow.
Be safe everywhere else.

Absolutely.
Where I live, 2 companies run the town bus services.
Over the years, one of them has consistently been very quick to "pull" their buses.
The other run if it's at all possible.
As both have decided to cancel today, I can tell they're worried. I don't think it's just about getting their buses along the roads - they probably don't want to encourage people to be outside in the strong winds.
Although I'm the sort of person who likes to keep going, I'm also risk averse. For this reason, I think they've called it right.

Not as bad as 1987 - when we finished up with a hole in our roof caused by tiles which had blown off - but still well and truly a big blow with a metal chair being blown around the back garden as if it were plastic and a few fence panels waving about in the 'breeze'. Despite being down in a valley the town was not so lucky - two women injured (one seriously) by brickwork blown off roofs, lots of trees down or badly damaged. an out of town fire engine arrived because the local chaps were fully engaged, and even a power cut at the other end of town (we only had a short outage of power).

World wide Cyber attack on Live streaming such as U Tube. Found out on RailCams. Some Railways have shut their chat down whilst U Tube are attempting to deal with all the crap.

I can remember when I got a real b0ll0cking on here, from a few people back in 2020, when they told me that CV was just like Flu; nothing more than that. Those were the days eh? If they see this, then pggggggggghhhhhh!
