  1. I've got a couple of Unicorns grazing in my back yard! Mike.
  2. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126154448688? And the transfers also! Mike.
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296190459326 The empty boxes get ridiculouser and ridiculouser! Mike.
  4. I junked my up and over door and replaced it with a wooden 2 leaf opener, also means you can get wall shelving right up to the door, which was the main reason I did it, the garage wasn't in use as a railway room regrettably. Mike.
  5. Another vote for Gaugemaster, dozens fitted on Wibdenshaw with no issues with sound fitted locos. The only issues I had with the juicers was when using them with NCE CP6 "light bulb" circuit protectors which "blew" faster than the relay operated on the juicer, further experimentation required on that issue! Mike.
  6. Bear in mind that the metal used in diecasting is a sort of high melting point solder, I would imagine the only way to get a successful bond would be by heating up the model and using high melting point solder, an Sn10 at around 300 degrees might work. Mike.
  7. Of course, being devils advocate, yours and my experience in the construction industry might prove or disprove that theory?!! Mike.
  8. If the slip can come up off the layout in one piece, a scan of it will give you a template. Mike.
  9. You only have to bring a suitcase, tools and wood here! Mike.
  10. Wouldn't you have been better making the building from ply/mdf to save warping and the faff of bracing? Mike.
  11. Give her my condolences! Mike.
  12. Hmmm, I don't know, something looks a bit strange with the headcode panel and front end to my untrained eyes. Mike.
  13. It all seems a bit subversive to me, in the second photo someone is reading the instructions whilst building a loco kit, it'll never catch on! Mike.
  14. A wiring diagram might help, how are you reversing the polarity? Mike.
  15. Good to see you've got into prototypical running early on! Mike.
  16. Excuse me, we're serious people round these 'ere parts, testing if you don't mind! Mike.
