  13. I'm happy to say that the Special Limited Edition of the Cotswolds book will now happen, as we have achieved the 'magic number' for minimum orders. There is still time to order one and thus also make a contribution to the charity I am supporting (Alzheimers Society) - click here: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/44507-new-book-on-the-cotswold-line-–-’past-and-present’/page__pid__506392&do=findComment&comment=506392

  15. Part of my back garden is still rather damp, despite the very warm weather of late, seemingly just because it doesn't get much sun in the afternoon. I'd have thought it would have dried out nevertheless! Anyway, it looks as if the warm spell is coming to an end from around Tuesday next week...

  19. I have discovered a worm-hole in the space-time continuum. It is in my workshop. An important component pinged off the desk the other night, and it simply isn't on this planet any more, at least not in the current time zone. Should I report this to NASA?!

One other thing that I have now started doing, is looking in the last place that I would think of looking first. It don't work for lost bits but some times works for them bits that you put away thinking that they will come in handy one day.

try walking around bare foot - that's ho I usually find things "lost" in the carpet.

I thought that it was "eddys" in the space-time continuium... and that this was his sofa. I'll get my coat!

I agree with Tony_S. The lost part only turns up when you've bought a replacement....at which point your replacement then goes missing....
